But we all disagree with each other as to the meaning of Scripture, the Old and New Testament. Whose interpretation of Scripture is authoritative?
Brother the new testsment is the fulfillment or “answers” for the thkngs the old was saying

what I mean is this needed to be interpreted long ago when it was foretold

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭

this then , is the fulfillment of that promise and needs to be accepted and believed and actually not interpreted but heard and believed because it’s not a mystery but a revelation of prophecy

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

See how the old leaves more to be said , but the new interprets what it meant ?

the Old Testament is a witness of Christ and his gospel

“and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

….Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:20-21, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

They were all foretelling Jesus and the gospel to come , from his birth there to his baptism , his miracles and ministry , his suffering and death , resurrection and ascention to the throne in heaven

what I’m trying to say is if we need to understand the old testsment we can just believe what happened in the New Testament because that’s where it leads to the New Testament

so my own opinion is that the Bible interprets itself

from this mysterious saying 750 years before Jesus was born

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:5-6, 10-11‬ ‭

to Paul’s teachings about Jesus dying for our sins as one half of the atonement patterned after the sin sacrifice and being raised to life bearing our sins as the other half of it the scapegoat

we need to hear and accept it , not interpret it it is constructed we learn and grow from searching for truth in the scriptures instead of letting our thinking change what’s there we need to let what’s there change our thinking and interpret it for us

“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:14-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Teaching and doctrine are interchangeable words. This is another case of you just not liking a word and trying to dismiss it.

i believe in the Word of God because i am a Witness to what is has done in my life and others i know.
i Testify to it based upon how my life and the lives i know have been changed due to it.
for me, it's not a Creed, it's a lifestyle and way of life!
Actually - that's a faulty reason to believe Scripture.

The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents, written down by eye witnesses during the lifetime of other eye witnesses. They report to us supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings were divine rather than human in origin. 2 Peter 1:16-21; Luke 1:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8

People like Malcom X and so very many more had their lives changed by falsehoods. You have to ground your faith in something that can be proven, something tangible.

Otherwise, how can you say your worshipping God in truth and others are following falsehoods?

Yes we believe in the Bible, but there are real, tangible, foundational reasons that can convince even the most cynical if you're grounded in facts first.

You may know the Holy Spirit, but that won't convince people. They have to see the foundation for belief first.

No they wrote words in Greek. Those words are translated to English. The form of English that you use is a much more modern language. The word doctrine is a middle English word derived from old French derived from latin. The word "doctrine" means teaching. You arent the determiner of the meaning of words.

i am the determiner of words when it comes to what i need to believe!

i determine what i watch vs Godly and ungodly, i determine what i listen to, in my walk in God i am the determiner of what i allow to influence me!

and doctrine was NEVER USED in the Word of God until the textus receptus removed Teachings for Doctrine!

Christians all agree that Christ forgives, and saves us from the sin that kills, yet Christ knows we see darkly---no one living in the flesh truly understand the spiritual world. Our Savior loves and fogives us anyway.

Romans 15:7
Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.

"
Canon 4
If any man lusting after a woman purposes to lie with her, and his design does not come to effect, it is evident that he has been saved by grace."
I was referring to the Nicene Creed.

Your council of Neocaesarea, looks like church canon law, rather than a Creed, which specifies the doctrines of the faith.

Early Church Fathers on Faith and Works
The Early Church Fathers on various topics: This was a 3700 hour project which included going through 22896 pages of the 38 volume set called Ante Nicene, Nicene, Post Nicene Fathers. I compiled 255 pages of quotes showing that the Early Church was always and completely Catholic. All of these quotes can be verified and found from the source which is free online.

Clement of Alexandria Stromata Book 2 Ch 8 (150-215 ad)
He, then, who from among the Gentiles and from that old life has betaken himself to faith, has obtained forgiveness of sins once. But he who has sinned after this, on his repentance, though he obtain pardon, ought to fear, as one no longer washed to the forgiveness of sins.
Do you mean Roman Catholic or lower case catholic?
