We who are in Christ are in communion with the Living God. The bread and wine remind us of this. It's by the covenant (between the Son and Father) and through the body (broken for our us) that we commune with God. We are "His flesh and His bones".

Jesus' body was not broken.
I commune with God through prayer, not his body.
We are not his flesh and bones. He is a risen Savior and we are new creatures in Christ born again through his shed blood.
