What further work did the thief on the cross do?
Besides, God doesn’t cast His children into the fire; God doesn’t do abortions. You seem to have a different God.
The thief on the cross believe in Jesus and do work to preach to his friend the truth

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

the thief do what ever ha can to convince his friend that we deserve this cross not jesus
than in front of Jesus heater who crucify Him he publicly confess that Jesus is God

In Verse 42 he call Him Lord
He bag Jesus to remember in thy kingdom

mean He publicly confess that Jesus is the owner of The Kingdom

have you stay among Muslim?

if you do you can fell pressure not easy to say Jesus is God among them without being insulted
hi you worship death man
how you believe God being killed etc

that thief say what he believe and it is show his strong faith

i believe it is the fruit

fruit of Holy Spirit is love

and love is
1 cor 13
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

he don’t like evil

He dont like people kill good man(Jesus) being punish

and Paul continue on what is love

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Love greater than faith

so the thief do great think to have faith in Jesus and bear fruit of love by hate evil, preach to his friend and a sentence of his preaching was read by millions up to niw

Nope, that’s a Jewish doctrine concerning the kingdom of heaven not the body of Christ. Rightly divide the word of truth. You’re speaking of a works based salvation.
So you accuse Jesus teaching work base salvation in John 15 and Matt 25

So your Gospel says we are saved by works?

My Gospel says otherwise...

Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

I think the widespread confusion on this topic comes from not clearly understanding the difference between works of the Law, good works, and effort required to complete work. Also a misunderstanding of some key verses.

Jesus repeatedly told people to do things, referring to be casting into fire for failing. So why would Jesus say just believe in some verses and then say people need to do some service to God to avoid the fire?

LOL, my Gospel says once you have God's Spirit you won't want to kill, steal or support abortions or have adulterous relations etc.

The basic point of confusion is not knowing the difference between 'law' (what we must do) and 'Gospel' (what God has done in Christ for us and for our salvation).
This was clear in the Reformers time but a mass of confusion today.

Yes I am sure that is the case, too, at times.

So who are the verses for in Matthew 25 for example? The sheep and goat judgment specifically. The sheep are rewarded for doing good and the goats are punished for not doing good. Are Christians sheep? Why were the goats being judged by their service too if they aren’t Christian?

It has nothing to do with todays Christians as they have passed from condemnation to life (Jn 5:24).
It's a judgment of the nations (v.32), as to how they treated the Jews during the GT.

Just believe enough
the problem is what believe mean

it mean believe His teaching and instruction
then in some case mean helping the poor because Jesus in turn believer to live the needy
for believer that don’t have money or time nothing they can do but in they heart they have sympathy to the needy though don’t have money to help it counted as fruit
if you don’t have simpathy to the needy than it mean Jesus not in you and your faith fake

My response was justified.

Since you don't understand the import if their insult against Sarah, your judgement of me is uncalled for and pathetic.

'Sarah's [womb] an empty dust lined baby shelf.'

Forgive me God for repeating Men's blasphemy.

If you think that's not an insult against Sarah you're not paying attention.
I'm not discussing this further. Mem showed their nature then and afterward, along with HeIsHere.

Their behaviors are indefensible to Christians.
It wasn't blasphemy. It wasn't an insult. That you had to add a word to Mem's words demonstrates that. She used a poetic metaphor for barrenness... that's it, that's all. Your behaviour is indefensible. If you're that prone to offense, you're on the wrong forum.

Yes I am a Christian first and an American second and I won't be there at the judgment of the Sheep and the Goats.

The nations most often means like Gentile used to: those who as yet remain outside salvation.
