Nazarites and priests (including the High Priest) were forbidden to drink alcohol or any strong drink. Since Christ is our Great High Priest and was also virtually a Nazarite, He would not have violated that requirement.
He was from Nazarene but not a Nazarite. He took no vow in this regard.

also remember, the people at the wedding said you saved the best wine for last. now, would anyone be saying that if it was grape juice? wow man. you really gave us the best grape juice for last.
Yeah, that would be kind of lame. Apparently, the wine Jesus made was Welch's and not some store brand.

I' ve never heard a signature referred to as a post tag.

That? Is a generation 5 Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet.
Featured as the "Gen5 Russian enemy" plane in the new Top Gun sequel, Maverick.

I'm an American Christian. Our national bird is the American Bald Eagle, not a chicken.

My God is a God of war when necessary and a prince of peace when possible. And I make no apologies for standing with our military against all enemies foreign and domestic in this one nation under God.

Nothing is so tragic as that which breathes freely while condemning that which makes it possible.
Don't get me wrong - I too believe in fighting for freedom, when called upon. I support our troops but you seemed to have missed my point. Your picture sends a confusing message when you are addressing believes or attempting to further the Gospel. It is a symbol of worldly power and not the power of God.

You stated: " ..a prince of peace when possible." That makes God sound weak. God needs no assistance. If it was His decree to bring about peace, today, there would be peace. For all things are possible with God. When Jesus Christ returns, He will not be using the worlds war machines to bring an end to His enemies and the enemies of Truth.

Sadly, the United States, while a great nation to live in, has long forsaken the idea of being a nation under God. God's message is removed from every aspect of Government under the guise of separation of Church and State. It's courts are not about Justice but about Law. People want to kill unborn children and our Politicians wish to protect that right, rather than condemning it by reminding them of God's Holy ways. Society is becoming ever more so lawless. Through it all, the Hypocrites in Washington open their sessions with a prayer.

Indeed the times a wicked - even so - come Lord Jesus.

The problem of the military was inflicted by the current Commander-In-Chief of the US Armed Forces.

Biden's mishandling has seriously lowered the morale of the service members and is adversely impacting recruiting and retention. That vaccine mandate was especially devasting and accomplished nothing except the involuntary mass exodus of highly qualified and dedicated service members.

The current sad state of the military is not a reflection of those that serve but rather the idiotic policies of the one that is supposedly in charge. Very sad.

I have the highest respect for the military, but I have absolutely no respect for Biden. The guy is a fool and a puppet of those that are pulling his strings. He has seriously damaged the credibility of the United States and has weakened this country, perhaps irreparably.
im sure the enlisted will never forget Biden's Afghanistan exit. that will forever haunt them if those lost were friends outside of fellow service men/women.

Probably. Or maybe not. The defense of drinking wine offered was rather emotional, and not following to the words used. It appears as inserting a particular scenario to defend it. Which, to me, seems like it may be an attempt to justify a guilty conscience. Albeit, it's on topic for the thread. I'd rather risk offending him, than let him end up wasted in addiction. Perhaps it's just the appearance of a lovely female face, to bring blood to the chest and excite the passions.
No excuses, you were out of line. You judge someone for holding an opinion about drinking that you don't respect. Then you presume to disrespect that member by making scurrilous accusations against them that intend to indict them as a drunksrd. Because they disagree with your opinion about drinking alcohol.

You were wrong to do that and out of line. Period.

This medium being the only means to tell you that I'll say it would be great if your attack post was deleted by moderators. Out of respect for the target of your slander. Ask well as mine and all posts calling you out for that being we can only do this publicly.

Don't make excuses. Accept your responsibility. Bearing false witness is a sin. You're that dinner.

Oh, no, I have a drinking problem, a smoking problem, a woman problem, a food problem, a laziness problem, an anger problem.... Name it, I'm probably there.
I will end up repeating myself. Follow as God leads you, and I ain't often him.
Then take care of your issues. Don't paint others here in your image and likeness.

I'd say the problem with the military is The People not having Militia, and that's on us for letting Congress amend the Constitution by "Redefining" language we gave them, and for not training ourselves when Congress abdicated what we told them in Article 1, Section 8. But now we're way off topic.

Hard to say what the alcohol content was in new wine back in the day. Whatever it was, the wine that Jesus made from water was choice, according to the chief wine steward.
If you consider the available storage options for smoothies, my guess is that any juice that stored longer than a week was considered high value. Getting a juice flavor 4 months from harvest had to have some good weight in gold.
The other options for drinking being ground water, or rain barrels? And when Was the last time it rained, in that desert? Ok, maybe Goat or Sheep Milk?

Thanks @JohnDB for your support.

Now, should we tell him I'm female?

Prostate! Prostate? Sir?

Fixed the autocorrect typos too. Yep she did that.

Obvious error.
Jesus did not have to "grab" anything.

His resurrection was already ensured by His divinity.
Uhhhh....why are you "correcting" lighthearted euphemisms?

Judgemental mutch?

Ten pages gone by and I have yet to read one post giving scripture where Jesus drank wine. Did I miss something? Shouldn’t scripture give us the answer?
