I'm a really sensitive person...that's nobody else's fault.

Me too, really, but I've learned to be even more sensitive to my Father than anyone else so, like one of these little ones, whenever I feel a jab, my response is almost an impulse to look to Father who never fails to support me with something like, "You're okay, I am here, I will strengthen you, I'll never leave you...you are mine."

Yeah, I know My Father. I met Him in late July, 1994. It was the best day of my life.
"I love you with an everlasting love." "I'll never leave you nor forsake you."
Life can be scary. No matter how hairy things get, His love is unchanging. A steady Rock in the storms of life. He knows they are but passing tempests. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever! It's gonna be awesome!

On the down-side, there are those who push the, "If you would only listen to me, work the word "correctly" and do what "God" wants you to do, you would be healthy and prosperous and be so blessed!"
Ahem, but I've been there, done it, suffered through the guilt and shame put on me by them when it didn't work, and now recognize this
Word Of Faith, Prosperity Gospel for what it is...toxic faith! Millions of lives have been ruined by it, and millions more are ensnared by it.
My best life now?
"…38and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. 39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 40He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.…"
- Matthew 10:39

I’ve been looking at this thread for 3 days. I usually respond when I see something enjoyable or really stupid. But this thread is somewhere in between. After carefully thinking about this for 3 days I’ve come up with the following response:

This forum has made me a better person because I’ve received many “likes” which I then forwarded to my manager for a raise.

I'm reaching for something like Trump status, perhaps launching a startup to compete with twitter, except with bleats. Do you think Bleeter has a catchy ring to it?

Lol
Your response is beautiful too and I love it. It’s a multilayered response especially when you factor Trump in there.

I also noticed that you hadn't been around.

For whatever it's worth, some of us like you.

Have a blessed day.
I've been having a lot of trouble understanding people on this site. I can't even tell who likes me and who hates me. Today I just deleted a person from email. We have been having a misunderstanding... I feel like this place is driving me into such confusion and anger that when I'm trying to concentrate on other things in life, I'm finding those thoughts intruding in on my brain, and distorting my focus! I don't even understand why this is happening to me. Maybe I can't handle these people! o_O

It's a war zone. Sooner or later, you have to fight, whether you want to or not. At least that's what I've found. They're all like this. There's not as many of these forums as there used to be. I guess some can handle it okay. I've been on various forums for just about 2 years. There's good stuff, but I no longer want to go beyond a superficial friendship. Things are fine, you let down your guard, then a certain subject comes up and kapowie! Then I have to sort through what happened and it takes time for my emotions to heal. It's hard not to get jaded.

I've been apart of so many forums that it might make your head spin, if I named them all. These aren't Christian forums. But currently just the computer operating system forums alone, I'm a member of 31 of them. That is, if they are still active.

I have never been to any other Christian forum or social media that has fought as much as this one!

This never happened to me on other Christian forums. But here, I get told to blame myself for my own problems. Being told that over and over again, makes me very angry, and causes me to say, "Maybe I don't want to come back".

Have you tried Christianity Board?

Yeah, it's like this one, but smaller. From what you post, you might get an easier ride there, though some still want to argue. The PM is free.

I don't have a problem paying as it helps support the place. It does cost money to run a forum. And they don't have ads! I like the set-up and staff here. I hardly know they exist. I just wish that people were more tolerant, that's all. And I'm not saying to corrupt doctrine. It just that nobody has perfect doctrine and as such, we should be humble and teachable. That's what I think.
I end up bruised and calloused, and then I end up acting like that. I guess hurting people hurt people. This is the part I don't like. I've been here a year and haven't started a thread. I don't think I'm any better than anybody, and I know what the word says.
"4 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." - Ephesians 4:1-6

Since I don't have any friends, I need to blog publicly. The down side is, I get negative attention.

I don't really have any friends either. I know what you mean. But it's better than sitting, looking at the wall. When someone gets on my case, I've learned to get in their face. If that fails, I put them on ignore. I don't like being like this, but I'm trying to stay on this forum. I already quit once. And a hand full of other ones.
If you ask, some will close your file, and some refuse. I then usually change their mind. I don't care if they say they banned me, I know what the score is. I have a hard time taking any of this seriously as it all seems like some kind of a weird dream. Whatever. Like I said, it's better than looking at the wall. I really hate the internet!
