That’s true. The sabbath is definitely the seventh day of the week.

I honestly think churches meet on Sunday, not because of some sinister plot by the Antichrist to undermine God, but because there’s a Biblical precedent to meet on Sunday (the first day of the week) and have the Lord’s supper. If churches are calling Sunday, the first day of the week, the Sabbath then yes that’s a problem.

Acts 20:7 KJV
7And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
A lot of people themselves call Sunday the Sabbath. If you don't want to observe it, fine, but don't be deceived or pretend that the first day of the week is now the Sabbath.

There is not one verse in the bible that claims that the first day of the week is now the Sabbath but there is substantiation of stating that the seventh day of the week is the Sabbath.

The 4th commandment explicitly states to "Remember" the Sabbath and keep it holy. There is a reason for the word "Remember". This commandment, along with the other 9 were written in stone with the finger of God and were placed in the Ark of the Covenant.

Jesus came to fulfill the law. It does not state that Jesus came to abolish the law.

I just returned from my daily worship in the park. We start at Sunrise to worship Jesus. Many unbelievers have come down to join us and ask questions. So Far this Summer, over 500 have came to Jesus by this. We interview each person and have them call a local Pastor team to arrainge regualar attendance. In the last report from the Pastors, all have started attending their churches two or three times a week. Those who can join us on any given day do.
I believe you’ve participated in the beginning parts of a revival. If everyone could get behind this in prayer it’d be good I think.

Colossians chapter 2

[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

There are those who would have us to believe that these “sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come” pertain only to special Sabbath days like the Jewish feasts and not to the weekly seventh day Sabbath as well, but such is not the case.
I have highlighted in purple and bold your words "like the Jewish feasts".

Are you of the belief that special Sabbath days are of only the Jews? Or are you saying other people think and say that?

Mat_7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat_7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat_12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Luk_6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

Lev 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations,
even these are my feasts.

Rom_10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Well, I need to answer this question in two parts.

First of all, I wasn't really making a distinction between Jews and Gentiles in my original comment. Instead, I was simply seeking to say that the foreshadowing Sabbaths don't pertain only to the Jewish Feasts that are listed in Leviticus chapter 23 for example.

Secondly, I'm of the mindset that God's law pertained/or still pertains to both Jews and Gentiles alike. In other words, it was given to the Jews initially, but they were supposed to share it with the whole world.

Hopefully, this answers your question...assuming that I understood it correctly.

I’m on many ignore lists here. I actually have one person on ignore, not sure how that happened, just seemed suddenly they were there. I have no remembrance of doing it as it is my policy to never ignore anyone. I want to reach all people like Jesus tried to do at the dinner table. Now I’ll unblock that person.

There were 6 days of creation and then God rested on the 7th day. Does God need rest? The answer is obviously, No. On the 7th day God had finished His creating and NOW is observing humanity as it plays out in Time. We are living on the Sabath Day and our attention should be making God the center of our lives which happens when we receive His Holy Spirit by trusting in His plan for our salvation through Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit fills us with the Divine Love necessary to obey Christ's commandments which is to Love God first and everyone else second. Works without that love is useless.

Initially, I never put anybody on "ignore" because I mistakenly (?) thought that they wouldn't be able to see my posts. Seemingly (?), when you put someone on "ignore", you don't see their posts, but they can still see your posts. I could be mistaken, but that's how I think it works.

Anyhow, I currently have three people on "ignore", and they all more than earned that place on my list. I used to preach on the streets, and I'm used to hecklers. In fact, I actually liked them.

Here?

I honestly believe that some people here are just crazy...literally crazy. I pray for them, but I'm not going to let them disrupt my time here.

Hebrews 3
King James Version
3 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Hebrews 4
King James Version
4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The plural of sabbaths would include the single day of the sabbath.

Also,

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Expanded Bible

19 I am free and belong to no one. But I make myself a slave to all people to win as many as I can. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew to win the Jews. I myself am not ·ruled by [subject to;  under] the law. But to those who are ·ruled by [subject to; L under] the law I became like a person who is ·ruled by [subject to; L under] the law. I did this to win those who are ·ruled by [subject to; L under] the law. 21 To those who are without the law [C Gentiles] I became like a person who is without the law. I did this to win those people who are without the law. (But really, I am not without God’s law—I am ·ruled by [ under] Christ’s law.) 22 To those who are weak [C in faith; 8:7–13], I became weak so I could win the weak. I have become all things to all people so I could save some of them in any way possible. 23 I do all this because of the ·Good News [Gospel] and so I can ·share in its blessings [or be a participant in it].

Surely you can do better than that. If not...no show.

Ok I will use your cultic version(not serious)

20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

It is clear to any honest person, that Paul is not under the law as a Christian.

Paul is not under the Letter of the Law. Those that seek to accomplish the Letter of the Law are doomed to fail. Paul is under the Spirit of the Law which is to Love God first and everyone else second. In other words, all actions and thoughts are motivated by that divine love which fills our hearts by God's Holy Spirit.

WOW..then how much of God's law does one have to keep to be OK?
Doesn't the Bible strongly suggest that it must be our determination to be like Christ?

Your thought makes no common sense.
