I don't listen to much music, but I do still listen to that song pretty frequently.
I haven't heard it in years! But as soon as she mentioned the phrase, the music came to my brain instantly.! Brings back memories for sure!

I haven't heard it in about three days. It truly is one of my favorite songs.

I don't know about the "sick" part, but everything that I do is related to love somehow.

I only listen to music about love...only watch movies about love...etc., etc.

As I mentioned earlier today, I have a soft spot in my heart for love in general...even though it's eluded me for basically my entire life.

I'm still genuinely happy when others find it.

Been thinking about this for many years and something recently has opened up the thought process as follows

Can we control who we love ?
Well it is called falling in love for a reason you think , it’s like an accident , it just happens. When we meet that “one” lots happen in our heart mind and soul .
Some create checklists
1. Income - good
2. Height- not too short not too tall
3. Likes my music type - check
4. Enjoys my movies - check
etc etc etc
Then suddenly we meet someone and the list is thrown out and we go “ oh it’s you! Do t know why it’s you, it just is”

Of course how we show that love is a life long journey . Building bridges , tearing walls down .

Just sone thoughts , I probably wrong .
Here... here is the answer:

True love shouldn't be that complicated.

In my estimation, true love is a simple as the following:

View attachment 240199
Judging by this standard, there are less than 5 people on the face of this earth who love me in any sort of capacity whatsoever...and three of those less than 5 people are my children.

Surprisingly, I'm very content with that.

Mostly because I'm firmly rooted and grounded in the love of Christ.

God's grace is sufficient.

Anyhow, this reality hasn't stopped me from giving love to others, nor will it ever.
Will you love me, Live4?

If you're looking for godly, friendly, brotherly, or neighborly love, then sure.

However, if you're looking for erotic love, then you'll have to look elsewhere.

LOL you are entirely too serious. We've had this kind of banter before, and I thought we were past this. Ugh.

First of all, there's nothing wrong with a Christian being serious. After all, Jesus ought to be our example, and he was/is very serious. That said and totally meant, I do have a sense of humor, and there are many examples of the same in my posting histories my three times around here. I just don't find homosexual references to be the least bit amusing. That doesn't make me some sort of "homophobe", either. I actually have a lot of compassion towards the LGBTers, without condoning their lifestyles, in that I'm beyond certain that there are oftentimes many factors which lead one to that type of lifestyle. Factors which can be changed/healed via the gospel of Jesus Christ if it's offered in a compassionate and understanding way.

Secondly, we have had this type of banter before, and you started it then, even as you again engaged in it now. I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm not into men in that manner. Of that, I'm sure.

Anyhow, and I'm being totally serious in what I'm about to say, it seems to me that a particular woman on this site likes you a lot (I won't mention her name), and I've honestly been wondering for the last few days if you're oblivious to that seeming reality. I actually thought about becoming a paying member here just so I could pm you and ask you if were aware of what seems rather obvious to me or not. If I'm correct in my assessment/discernment, then she seems like a real catch.

Just saying...

Well, my humor is often silly and edgy. Clearly that's not your thing. I'll happily back off.

Secondly, there is no woman on this site who's given me any hint whatsoever of anything. I feel that at best, the ladies here get a kick out of some of my comments, and politely tolerate me. That's it. No one has ever said anything to me that even reads like a hint.

So, while I appreciate your bringing my attention to this, even after what it came on the heels of, I do not believe you're assesment is correct.

I'm 57. I've seen a gamut of female bahavior. Oftentimes it has seemed quite flirtatious, only to see me falling from the sky like a WWII fighter plane after I took her supposed hint. Women are funny that way. They're often more warm and physical than men, and we men can read that incorrectly. I don't make that mistake anymore.

So, unless a woman makes it more obvious (there is a certain look... but that cannot be seen here), I do not usually jump to any conclusions.

Well, I disagree in relation to the particular woman here that I'm thinking of, but time will tell whether I'm wrong or right in my assessment.

In any case, I'm certainly not trying to play matchmaker, but it does seem rather obvious to me, and it has for at least a few weeks now.

I could be mistaken.

Again, time will tell.

LOL time won't tell anything unless she makes it obvious to me, or someone who knows her introduces us.

Perhaps she will.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if she does.

Anyhow, I'm normally spot on when it comes to spotting budding love, but, as I said, I could be mistaken.

I'll be really surprised if I'm wrong on this one.

Just don't blow it if I'm correct...lol.
