Feel free to do so. I promise you that you are not alone. This world is full of lonely hearts. You can take the spot that I have vacated.
Haha, thanks! Is there such a thing as being contentedly lonely?

On nights like this, I'm glad I'm a Christian haha.

Listening to soppy love songs, after watching a soppy romance movie.

I feel like signing up for this band tonight.

At times, especially at night, I dwell on how things were before I met my wife and this is one of those nights. From my almost 4 years on this site I have met a lot of people that seem all alone in this world and my heart goes out to them and it saddens me. It is my hope and prayer that God comes to those such as these and takes away the pain of loneliness and feeling of isolation. I know from experience that it can be a very desolate spot and I thank God that I was delivered from that dreadful place.

All the lonely people,
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

Perhaps they belong to someone,
somewhere, out there...

...and there won't be lonely hearts anymore.

From the many posts that I have read it is evident to me that there are many lonely and hurting people on this site.

There are many reasons why people remain single even though they desire someone to experience a deep enduring love with, such as fear of rejection or commitment. Then there are those that are very tentative in how they approach prospective relationships and set the bar so high that no one would be able to clear the hurdle of their unrealistic check list that eliminates most prospective mates.

There is no such thing as a perfect person to form a relationship with, and if you wait for all of the 'T's to be crossed, all of the 'I's' to be dotted and all of the lights to be green you will most likely remain alone for years to come or possibly your whole lifetime doomed to a lonely existence.

It is best to pray for God to search and find the one of your heart's desire but you must be prepared to act when the opportunity presents itself. I have heard that it is best to wait for God's perfect timing for the right person to enter your life and I agree with this but don't use that as an excuse to remain alone when the right time comes and you are to afraid to take a risk, roll the dice and see what may happen.

I'd settle for just the proper punctuation marks at the end of sentences.

If I do get hitched again, I did settle on the best.

You're a good guy Tommy and yes, having experienced the worse, only the best will do.

Lyrics from 8 days a week by the Beatles. Posting this for my honey. She is Legally Blond but in a good way.

Ooh, I need your love babe,
Guess you know it's true.
Hope you need my love babe,
Just like I need you.

Hold me, love me, hold me, love me.
I ain't got nothin' but love babe,

Eight days a week.

Love you everyday girl,
Always on my mind.
One thing I can say girl,
Love you all the time.

Hold me, love me, hold me, love me.
I ain't got nothin' but love girl,
Eight days a week.

People in Orlando, Florida tend to be a bit rude too and also a bit crude. At least that was my experience and observation having lived there for 20+ years. Peeps where I now live in Tennessee seem a bit laid back and friendly. Must be the sweet tea. It's a Southern thang.

My wife is a big Dolly fan. First thing we did upon arrival was to register our car with the state of Tennessee. My wife asked for the Dolly Parton license plate. It is quite colorful.

This is the style that is on our car. Of course, our numbers are different than the picture.

Motown..,the teachers decided that their social thing would be a motown concert and this guy hadnt heard of them lol

But then, I had one teacher who had never heard of the song RESPECT.

She also thought 50 shades of grey was a great book and had I read it? lol
A little snippet of Motown
Excerpt from RESPECT from Arthea Franlin

"All I'm askin' is for a little respect when you get home.
(Just a little bit) hey, baby,
(Just a little bit) when you get home.
(Just a little bit) mister.

(Just a little bit)..."

It was twenty years ago today
Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play
They've been going in and out of style
But they're guaranteed to raise a smile

So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Excerpt from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles

Even though I am not musically inclined I feel that I am certainly qualified to join this particular club. Perhaps the single life should be preferred over the married life. I have known one horrific marriage and one beautiful marriage so it may be well that I should remain single and celibate at this stage of my life as my efforts in this search seem to be pointless and frustrating. Instead of searching for a wife I will now visit my local animal shelter and take home the first dog that comes to the front of the cage. A dog will love you unconditionally, will be sad when you are sad, wag his tail when you are happy and will not talk back to you unless it is a cheerful bark or yip telling you it’s time to go potty. That is why a dog is a man’s best friend. No fuss or muss. Every morning I will faithfully fill my dog’s food dish with Alpo and fill the water dish with Dasani bottled water. Only the best will do for my new best friend in life that I will love with all of my heart. At night we will go for walks in the park and talk about the day’s events. It's a dog's life.
And Im sure your new dog will love you for it!
Wow this is an old thread.
Dont shoot me I did not care for the Beatles but I was just saying to someone the other day Thank the Lord for people who care about animals. I miss my dogs and cats. They gave me some of the best times in my life. Do you think pets go to heaven?

God said that man cannot begin to imagine what God has in store for those that love him. Yes, absolutely, pets will go to heaven to meet up with the peeps that love them. I'm going to see once again my little dog Yankee who died of cancer in 1992. When he sees his daddy his little tail will be wagging furiously. We're gonna have a good time then.
