Beyond any question that the two gospel authors have a different account of the exact time. That Mary went to the tomb.
One is before sunrise and the other is after sunrise. One of the accounts is wrong.

Yes, but it is 3 full days not 2 part days and one full day.
Killed Wednesday, buried Thursday, Friday and Saturday, rising exactly when it was the 1st day means three days had passed since he was buried. The text does not count the partial 1st day/Sunday as day 4 which goes against the whole "a partial day is counted as a full day theory".
By your calculation when Jesus rose on Sunday that would be the 4th day, which is against the text. Don't give me any theory to justify that Jesus actually rose on Saturday. Jesus fulfilled the Feast of First Fruit by his resurrection, and that feast must be on a sunday, which is the day after sabbath, the first day of the week (Lev. 23:11).

body was restored to life during the third day rather than after the third day
was over and done with.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening. The text identifies the fourteenth day at evening for the start of Unleavened Bread.

It's scriptural.
Scripture isn't perfectly clear if it was on the 3rd day or after 3 days had passed:
Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
This means not rising on the 3rd day but still in the grave until the 3rd day is complete.
Matthew 16:20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
Matthew 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

My proposal harmonizes "After three days" with "on the third day".
They had to get them down because the next day was a high day annual sabbath. And yet, they bought the spices the day after this sabbath. They bought the spices on Friday, rested on Saturday the weekly sabbath, and went to the tomb early Sunday morning.

Every day before a sabbath was a preparation day. The crucifixion week had two Sabbaths and two preparation days.
