Doesn't hate Copeland he hoping he will repent and do what is right as HE does you and I :) Nowhere in the word of God does it say you are to hate your brother :) even the ones you don't like :)
The term "hating your brother", is always in reference to a brother in Christ. This should never be done. (1 John). Copeland is NO brother in Christ!

The correct answer is not "donating".
The correct answer is "giving".

People, usually Christians, want to give, but can get "tied up" over-thinking the process.

Alway remember..... everything you have, including your life, belongs to God.
Your money.
Your family.
Your breath.

So, when you "give", you are actually giving God's resources, as you own none of it....... God is only allowing you to use HIS prosperity.
Never think your money is "Mine"....."its all mine"...
YOU are a steward of what GOD has allowed you to USE< and you are nothing more, in this regard.
REALIZE.......its all HIS, if you are born again, and you are being giving USE of what God's owns.

Now, if you have issues with being greedy, or if you have issues with "where do i give, how do i give"...

Then just find a poor person and give.
Jesus said...."you'll always have the poor with you"......so, there is the best place you can give.
Give to the poor, and dont think about it, as its God money, and He would have them have it.

"but what if".....>"but what if"..
NO.
Do not think like that........
Think like this..... "they are outside". "they are sleeping on concrete, and hard cold ground".

You dont have to wonder if they need your help.
The Bible talks about the rights of the poor. The poor do deserve justice and equal treatment. But you can't just go around throwing money at people, and I don't believe God expects us to. The model we have from the New Testament is to help the poor believers in your own congregation or some other congregation that is overseen by elders and deacons you can trust. Handing out money to homeless strangers is like flushing your money down the toilet. Offering to buy them a meal might be more appropriate.

Of course not.I love talking about God to believers. That's how we are to do things. Nobody will have full understanding of the word.not even the prophets.People here have helped me out in getting a better understanding of scripture.
Like I've said.I'm very young.There's a lot to learn.
When talking to people from where I'm from .Some love the things I share that the Lord has revealed to me.Others wont even take it in.
Either way.God will work his ways.
That is good to know. :)

Pardon the interruption. But wouldn't a person need to be a part of the Copeland ministry to do so? Either that or a prophet that God sends for that purpose?

My understanding is that we are not all called to confront in that manner but I doubt no one has ever spoken up to Copeland. In fact, that person doing the interview pretty much nailed it. God will send the most unexpected to wake us up and still so many will not listen.

Such a high price to pay if Copeland would listen but how many would also suddenly have open ears to hear the truth?

Who knows. I have seen such a thing once or twice on a much smaller scale.

But back to my question. Do you really think it the job of a 'nobody' to call out Copeland to his face? I don't agree with that myself.

So does Satan.... if God allows.
He was obligated Himself to limit Himself to not come in where He is not invited, He works through us, as much as we will grow and allow.(y):):coffee:
Any problems down here are never because of His end, they are all originating down here.

No :)

Matthew 18:15-20
says: Jesus speaking

15If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’

17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Please entertain my application of verses 18 and 19.

After you have confronted them according to the word of God and they did not repent Those of you who went ( witnesses)

are to pray and agree and ask God to bind the false teacher and unrepented person and loosen them to repent and return to God. IF they did not do so, then pray and ask That God would turn them over to the enemy for the correction of their souls.

BUT you better make sure that you are in the right Spirit in doing so. Because if you go off half-cocked and think because of their error YOU can just mouth off Before doing what Jesus said to do YOU are in error.

Make excuses, and give reasoning all you want. I trust God to deal with them as HE said HE would do.

My job is, to tell the truth in love and pray.

Here is what I do know, KC was not always like this. Yet money has corrupted many people. David did worst, Yet God dealt with him and loved David. it is not too late for KC and all Yet I am not defending him I am speaking to you who say you are a Christian. Our action can't be unbiblical and justify it by pointing out someone who is also unbiblical.

I am going to butt in here.

Why do you insist on using Scriptures that are to be applied to brothers in Christ or to the corporate services of the assembly? Copeland, by his fruits, proves he is a reprobate. The Scriptures you quoted above are not applicable to this discussion.

Every assembly of Jesus Christ's, is autonomous and not answerable to another assembly. The discussion here, is about a heretic outside of the assembly.

Maybe $300 million was a low ball estimate. Some put his forturn at over $700 million. You know that Jesus never owned anything, claimed he didn't have a place to lay His head. Is Copeland following Jesus' example/lead. Take a peak at how Copeland lives, completely tax free. You'll be surprised: Kenneth Copeland, wealthiest US pastor, lives on $7M tax-free estate (nypost.com)

and you are the judge huh? FYI Jesus is the head of the Church and HIS Body :) If you have not confronted KC as Jesus said to do that is between you and Him :). BUTT in all you like :) In your own opinion, the scripture I used is not applicable. Yet Contextually Jesus said that latter of MATTHEW 18 AFTER SAYING

So no it is then. Well I disagree and yes of course I am familiar with the verses you quote and in fact have applied them to myself and others (others in my mind if not physically so and the others being those I associate with). It is my perception that those verses would apply to locality and personal knowledge regarding offense and so on. What witnesses would I take with me as I have never associated with Copeland in any way other than through what I see or hear on tv? (short lived to be sure as I cannot take too much of that)

I agree regarding prayer and have seen that in action regarding an unrepentant person who was in the process of seducing a young woman who had just come to Christ. He was the youth leader and he made a public apology, although did not go into detail but some of us knew just what he was after.

I don't know the history of Copeland but my experience has shown me that many go off the rails after a while and I think they are seduced and in turn seduce others. By that, I mean fall for the lies of seducing spirits that the Bible speaks of. I agree it is not too late for anyone to turn but also see that God does just say to some 'I never knew you' when they appear before Him.

Oh I know you are not defending him and if you read my previous posts you might see I don't think any of us can point an innocent finger. Yet, we are to know the truth and defend it.

Yet I am not defending him I am speaking to you who say you are a Christian. Our action can't be unbiblical and justify it by pointing out someone who is also unbiblical.
Is that necessary? As a Christian, I will tell you straight that I do not suffer from a guilt complex nor will I be compelled to obey or run and do what another tells me to do because I am a Christian. No offense, but I do not see my fellowship with Christ as some sort of compulsion to do what others think is Gods' will for me. I do not think it is my place to tell Copeland which way is up. Have you any sort of idea how many many times this has already been provided to him and yet he continues as he is? His face has changed and gives away the inner man. It is not a pretty sight.

That would be how I see it. As for Copeland being a reprobate, well, God knows. He has had many corrections and continues as he is.
