My husband has dementia and has been in a nursing home now for 3 years.
He cannot communicate now altho he does understand what is said to him.
I am just sharing why I think it would be good to have a room for seniors
since I know many are in similar situations.
Ultimately the Lord Jesus is our closest friend and on Him we can always rely

I know. This is an old thread. But I'm on a mission.
•I am no longer a teenager. The teen forum seems no place for this old lady!
•I am no longer raising my children. They are grown with families of their own. The Young Adults and Family forums are nice to visit, but they aren't in the same place as I am.
•I am no longer contending with others in the workplace. I am retired.
Although we can certainly join in all over the site, it would be so lovely to have a Forum for us old fogies.

Personally I'm all for it, they have a young adults room and teenage room so why not seniors? somewhere where they can talk about how in the old days this and that happened and how those darn teenagers and their cell phones and loud music. grumble grumble grumble...[/
