Oh yeah, I forgot, when two ladies go to the bathroom together, one is the trainer for WIN. And, yes guys they all share phone numbers --- why else do you think they have so many phone numbers on their cell phones? Some ladies have been known to write in magic marker on your backside their phone numbers when you fall asleep.

King David was walking down the street and a young man started making fun of him, calling him names and even throwing rocks at him. He followed him everywhere that he went, just pestering him, wanting to pick a fight and trying to aggravate him. Finally, a man who was with David basically said, "Do you want us to put a stop to him? Do you want us to shut him up? He is a real pain." I love the way David answered him. He said, "No, let him keep talking. Maybe God will hear him and bless me for it." (See 2 Samuel 16:5-14)

Back to the very very first post, I have a feeling a “disappointment and disgust” of men probably has a lot of different psychological factors. Emotional abuse and trauma, personal losses, as well as many other factors.

All I can say is to pray God will help you to be merciful to His children, which are both male and female. God made us both and loves us just as equally. So if He can love them, as well as ourselves with every sin we have done or ever will done totally visible, maybe that will help?

Pray He will help you let go.

I have this huge, extreme, major, disgust disappoint of men. How do I get rid of this?
I think it’s important to surround yourself with edifying companions who exhibit gentleness, discretion, and grace. They will have an impact on your vernacular and mindset for good or bad. You need people who will speak the truth in love who’ll nudge you towards betterment and not apathy or a rut.

This requires a willingness to listen. Not merely to what is said but the heart behind what’s uttered. Do her words uplift or tear down? Does she celebrate good events with others as well as her own? How does she speak of her companion? Are you privy to his shortcomings and mistakes or does she sing his praises? The temperature of her words for him are the same you’ll receive for yourself and the one you’re with.

You can’t consume spoiled food and expect to go unscathed. In like fashion, you can’t be subjected to jaded people and expect to change. You must align yourself with those who speak honorably and exercise prudence in their disclosures. If she undresses him in the company of friends; she does the same with the rest.

I emphasized this for many reasons. It is a common problem which keeps women mired in muck and nonsense. As for you, the lone way to move past your feelings is to acknowledge their existence and cease to repeat them. Some things should remain unspoken. If you cast the ideas down and steer your mind elsewhere. They’ll cease to come after a while. And you’ll be free.

But you need to be clear on your payoff for its maintenance. What is the benefit of your stance? Who is it keeping at bay and protecting? Beware of the tower lest you become imprisoned with no way out.

You can’t build healthy relationships with barriers raised. You must be willing to let them in at some point. Allowing former connections to take up residence like ghosts and sully your prospects is unwise. Their time has come and gone. Let them go.

And forgive yourself if you were gullible, trusting, mistreated or deceived. Mistakes happen. Own it and move forward. The next needn’t be the last unless you’re stuck. Finally, get in the habit of making a positive statement about the opposite sex on a daily basis. We’re inundated with negative slogans all the time. Don’t buy into the rhetoric. Affirm the good and dispel what’s false.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just finished your thread and welcome back.
You are right it is hilarious but guess what I see your attitude has changed in time!🤗
Maybe not your thoughts against men but attitude is a plus.

I was married 3 times. First had serious mental problems, two others were cheaters.

I'm liking being single.
It's me all to myself.
I do want I want only .
No mess no fuss.

Some people are just meant to be single and I'm one of those!

I give my LOVE and I have a lot to my FAMILY!

So cheers sister you might be one of us too.👍😊

Thank you, and yes I think it has. I think my understanding on a lot of things have changed and made me shift my focus on these feelings. So lol men are a little more bearable . No, jokes aside there are far more important things than holding onto my disappointments about men. And yes I think I am one of those too, haha.

Yes there are people who are destined to be single, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

However, no man who has openly said that women are nothing but a pain and a waste of time has lasted long around here. Such men have been banned, from what I've seen.

It's perfectly OK to remain single but it's not OK to harbor hatred in your heart for half of the human population. No amount of sugar-coating will change that fact.

Don't bleed on those who haven't hurt you.

If there's never a point in your life where you aren't disappointed and disgusted with men, and you find that men are sufficient to make you happy, then you'll never come to God. It's not a bad place to be. But it's not a good place to stay. If we believe God, then man is salvageable, which is good, because that means we are salvageable.
