Perhaps, if given the chance to start all over again, I might try playing the game a little differently. Perhaps I might try stepping out of myself and living my life in third person. i.e. If I were outside of Oyster67, and I knew a good and all-powerful God were watching him, what things would I direct him to do, say, and pray each day?
I know that God eagerly anticipates our every move, hoping that we will act in a way that He can use to bless us and further His Kingdom.
Jeremiah
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

What I mean is that when we take God's daily graces for granted, it is we who miss out on the joy of a thankful and appreciative life.

Jesus provides the way because Jesus is the Way.
Genesis
22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said [to] this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen
Jesus wants to provide the way for you also. Let Him do it today.
