You see Muslims do not believe Jesus actually died on the Cross but a lookalike did and that the real Jesus is a Muslim who will come back to earth to kill all the present Chrsitains that believe He died on the Cross and refuse to accept Islam. It is a lot more complicated but do the study for yourself and it is all there for you to find out for yourself.

There were various Authors that did not directly contribute to the NT. Perhaps early Muslims read the work of the wrong Author. Remember, a lot of this was happening before the Black Plague and Dark Ages. Much was lost. For me lots of what the Monks of the Catholic church carried forward is debatable. Look at the work of Martin Luther and the carnage that followed after him. I believe that the KJV did a lot to order the Christian Church after. It was fairly recently that a Catholic Pope told Catholics to read their Bibles.

The Crucifixion happened very early, and the founding of Islam would not happen until around the 7th century. And, of course Islam split into Sunni and Shia branches, and finding out about that did a lot to undermine the credibility of Islam for me. Even Sunni Islam has 5 branches. I wish people could just get along.
Muhammad knew very well the messsge of the early Christians and rejected it. He also borrowed from the early Christain and Hebrew texts trying to get followers from both groups. I personally believe the leadership and majprity of the Roman Catholic Church will not be included in the Rapture of Jesus' Church as it will help usher in the Anti-Christ, one world religion, and the Tribulation. If you read all the Papul Bulls, and Catholic ‎Ecumenical Council Meeting Minutes to the present day Jesus Chrsit's role as "no one comes to the father but by me" (John 14:6) in Salvation has been cut out of the Roman Catholic Church's doctrine. Don't beleive me, check it out for yourself!

Matthew 7:21-23
New American Standard Bible

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [a]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

The majority of "Christians" have little understanding of the True Islamic Pillars or True teachings of Muhammad. They have only what they have been told by Muslims practicing Kitman and Taqiyya in order as a deception as to the true nature of Islam to " protect Islam" from non-believers.

Kitman comes from the Arabic word katama and means “to hide” or “to conceal”. There are eight different hadiths which, in slightly different versions, attribute the following saying to the prophet Muhammed: http://www.honestthinking.org/en/pub/HT.2005.07.JTA.EN.Kitman.htm

Taqiyya, or not showing their faith openly by means of pretense, dissimulation, or concealment, is a special type of LYING which is taught and used by Shi'a Muslims, cf. Sunni Muslims and Taqiyya. "Taqiyya" (or taqiyyah) is related to the terms "taqwa'" and "taqi'" - all have the root meaning of "guarding" something, in this case, the Islamic faith. https://www.answering-islam.org/Index/T/taqiyya.html
Fortunately, I live where I can openly say what I believe. While I believe the Christian way about Isa PBUH, I know the reason for the Arab belief about him. With over 7 billion people on the Earth, it is not fitting to expect us to all agree. I see no reason to kill anyone. Surah 5:32 makes that clear. I've long had an issue with the immodesty of many Christians and wore Hijab until recently, and I long to return to it.

Unfortunately many Christians are "christains" in name only and do not strictly follow the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus. Islam denies Jesus died on the cross the central tenant of faith in Christianity,

Dishonesty of the Qur'an
Changing the significance of a word to change the whole Gospel

Wail Taghlibi

The goal of this article is to show the contrast between what the Qur’an says about the way in which Jesus’ earthly life ended and what the Bible says in this respect. In a statement recorded in the gospel of John, Jesus used the verb “lift up” to refer to his death on the cross, his resurrection and his ascension to heaven. The author of the Qur'an used the present participle of that verb, and at the same time he changed its significance. His purpose in doing so was to undermine and deny one of the basic biblical doctrines upon which Christian faith was founded, i.e., the doctrine of redemption. The author of the Qur’an was not satisfied with the phrase, “I will take thee to Me and will raise thee to Me,” (Q. 3:55, Arberry) which implies, according to Muslim commentaries, the denial of the crucifixion of Christ and his redemptive work. He emphasizes his hostility towards the cross by another verse which clearly denies the crucifixion, (Q. 4:157, Arberry) “…Yet they did not slay him (the Messiah), neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown to them.”

The sole issue I have with Muslims is how they view Isa (PBUH), yet it is marginally understandable. Muhammad PBUH knew Christians and Jews, yet decided to go his own way. I do not see a lot of difference between Muslims, Christians and Jews otherwise. Their thinking is that Allah SWT is the highest and most Devine and has no body, so can not procreate, so can not have a Son. I don't get too excited about the issue.
The Father's ( GOD ) Spirit joined with Mary's egg to form Jesus. That is why she is referred to as a virgin. Also, if you don't know the difference between Muslims, Christians, and Jews, you must be ignorant and you need to learn more about each. You are taking your fate after death too lightly. Learn from different sources.

I apologies if I have offended you. My intentions were only to enlighten you. The beliefs of Muslims, Christians, and Jews are mutually exclusive. So when you stated that you don't see a lot of difference between them, that indicated to me that your knowledge of each was lacking.

islam is anti Christ. Islam teaches that Jesus was a mere man and that he didnt die on the cross.
In the quran allah specifically states that he is the greatest of all decievers and those he leads astray will never find there way back......muslims are the only people following allah for him to lead astray. Ive tried pointing this out to muslims, but to no avail.
Why would God be leading anyone astray... this makes no sense.

Are you Muslim? Have you actually studied it, or are you just listening to some Pastor who did not study it either?

I've read the Qur'an. Ask any Muslim.. they will deny Jesus died on the cross. Perhaps you should read it for yourself before accusing me of not knowing.

Play word games? Jesus was raised, so he didn't really die on the cross, that's what Qur'an told me.

It is confusing to those outside the Arab world that many of them feel that Allah SWT is so great that he can not have a body, so can not have a Son. I don't validate that sentiment but that is what they think, and it is why they do not believe in the crucifiction. I don't see a punitive and vindictive God, so I wonder how he will treat Islamics when he returns? It seems that in seven centuries since Jesus Christ, much was lost. I wish that I knew more about the history of that time.
The Koran is written for Jews and Christians at that time from the perspective of a specific historical period,
Since Jesus Christ was crucified, there have been many differences between Jews and Christians at that time, even now.
From my understanding of the Qur'an, This book is written not so much for Muslims but more for Jews, because Jews don't believe in Jesus. what if Muslims and Jews only believe in God and not believe in Jesus ? This is the reality. God has seen these problems for a long time ago, So there will be Muhammad's Koran, if You read the beginning of this book (Koran). It says that both Jews and Christians read the book of God ,we all read the book of God ( We include Muslims here), But both Jews and Christians have no knowledge,(This sentence can now be applied to Muslims, who have no knowledge.)
Because people forget that this is a complete book. People only read their own part. Jews read the Old Testament, Christians read the New Testament and Muslims read the Koran.

This kind of thing is very complicated and difficult to say, but I believe smart people can understand and understand it all.

I'm not saying that all people don't finish reading all the books. At least I have finished reading these books. I don't know others, but I believe most Christians have finished reading the Bible,,

My suggestion is to read the original book without any prejudice, don't listen to others' explanation, and read any book with your own understanding.

Regardless of what the Qur'an says...Jesus died on the cross and then resurrected. Without the death and resurrection of Christ there's no redemption of sin, there's no salvation for anyone. Therefore, Islam attempts to undermine or pervert the entire Christian faith with this one detail. Islam would have us believe that Jesus walked around claiming he was no one special.....it's a massive lie.
