i don't follow all these doctrines that are out there - i just study what's written, comparing scripture with scripture
No they are not symbolic, they are real....it is made even harder because human nature tends to stick to what it knows.........

that's what the book of Revelations is, Metaphoric: a thing regarded as representative or symbolic of something else.

when we read the Bible it must be as a whole...we have "In the beginning" and it starts there....We learn the character of GOD, the sacrifice of our saviour, & the Intercession of the Holy Spirit to counter....Lucifer....through so many of those stories contained in the Bible,
All the information we gather from reading the Bible, builds one big picture, that culminates in the separation of the saved from the dammed.
One big jigsaw puzzle who's pieces we must never forget where we placed, & as that puzzle fill's up, we should get a brighter, clearer understanding of what it is to be a child of the LORD, & the sacrifices we must take to achieve his GRACE.
