No, in Revelation 11, 1260 days are days which adds up to 42 months which, WOW, is exact amount of time beast has!
yes but the question was in prophecy, what does it mean in prophecy?
incidentally it also helps us to identify the anti-Christ, which co-insides with this and brings it to light. the two witnesses
Rev 11 is prophecy and 1260 days is still 1260 days. It's not years. The two witnesses preach for 3.5 years not for 1260 years...that makes no sense.
well the two witnesses are still prophesying today, REVELATION's 11:3...12: 6/14 all say the same thing..... 12: 17 tells us why.
for clarity... who is the dragon and who is the woman spoken in those Verse's?

In the verses below, we see the two olive trees (the Two Witnesses) empty the golden oil (Truth) out of themselves. What we’re being shown through the eyes of Zechariah is the manner in which God will pour out His Spirit (His Truth) in these latter days when “darkness“ comes upon the land. (Oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit.)
Zechariah 4:1-3, 11-12
4 Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. 2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I said, “I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. 3 Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.”
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

Ezek 4v6 has NOTHING whatsoever to do with the 1260 days mentioned in Rev chapter 11 & 12, and certainly NOT being set as a precedent!
All you're demonstrating is your inability to divide the Word of Truth correctly. 2Tim 2v15, 2Peter 3v16.
According to what people have posted online, I have (digitally) met or encountered three or four of the two witnesses. 
In my opinion It's all generations from Matthew 14 14 14,,,,An i believe them to be Adam and Eve its the same as 1260 days the 42. Sackcloth is the flesh.They are with in and sometime out side of us.
The dragon is the devil and those are the children of the spirit.It is written that the dragon tail took down a 3rd of them that where in heaven.
What was revealed to me concerning this...Rev 11: 3.

the children are US who believe in GOD....the devil waits to devour the child (Jesus).
the 1260 days...just so happens to be the length of time the dark ages lasted in years (study the dark ages what, when & why)
the sack-cloth is the state that the people are in at that time, a state that the two witnesses must continue to prophesy (speak of GOD) in.
in 538 as...the Catholic church (Pope) had all Bibles removed from the public so the WORD was only shared by its priests,
the only Bibles left were the ones held by the priests, and only in Latin so only they could read it.... in 1798 the 1260 years came to an end....(also inflicting the wound on the little horn, or anti-Christ)

I find some of your posts rather dogmatic, hence my direct reply!

there is nothing wrong with being direct...I do it often
but what's not Christian is calling me dumb.
"your inability to divide the word of truth correctly"....and what your also saying is your right I'm not... I have provided some facts to support my findings...and I didn't write the facts, they were written well before I was born.
I put the Bible up against our own history and they plus the Lord helped me find understanding...
What I don't want to do is rob anyone of the joys of discovery....the wow moments that come from discovering something new with Christ.
