I'm Mennonite/Anabaptist. We don't believe in Orthoxy at all. No Vatican, No Central committee, No robes or crosses, no man made rules or doctrines. Scripture only. Scripture proves scripture. Every Pastor is responsible to God and his congregation only. No outside oversight. We choose our pastors with God's help. They aren't sent to us. In General we don't vote for President. We don't follow Kings or Popes either.
I hope you are very happy with it then. Does not bode well for your soul, but as long as you are happy with your choice, it must be right for you. Lots of hangups on irrelevant details, robes, the vatican, politics, and the cross, hope you get on the narrow path later. You should reconsider the crossthing. Muy importante. Live in your "democratic/dictatoral" congregation if you wish, but I tell you, you are an individual if you wish to be. I choose my own pastors, they change, depending on who has something to say, that speaks to me. Not assigned to me by others. Would be an utter folly to follow other people. I do not need a church, it is just a building. My home is my church. Good food, good energy, good fun, good music, good reading, just poitivity, no nonsense.

Most of the Bible teachers that I've listened to sincerely believe that Jesus'
church will be completely gone from the Earth when the fourth chapter of
Revelation begins coming to pass, viz: the era of the so-called great
commission (a.k.a. the church age) will be over; there won't be any
regenerated, Spirit-empowered Christian evangelists left anywhere on Earth
preaching the gospel of Christ, yet according to Rev 7:9-17, many
thousands of people will be saved out of the Tribulation during the church's
absence.

I reckon that some of those numbers can be attributed to the success of the
everlasting gospel, which can be rightfully called the timeless gospel because
it contains things that have been known all over the world since the very
beginning, whereas Jesus' crucifixion, his resurrection, and his future
kingdom on Earth are relatively new entries in the annals of time.

Rev 14:6-7 . . And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having
the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to
every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, announcing with a loud
voice: Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is
come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the
fountains of waters.

The everlasting gospel is very elementary; pretty much all it says is:

1» There's a supreme being.

2» He deserves respect and admiration.

3» There's a frightful reckoning looming on the horizon, and

4» The cosmos-- all of its forms of life, matter, and energy --is the product
of intelligent design.

Paul was chosen by God. Paul recevied the gospel from Christ to give to us. Paul preached Christ crucified. Obviously to me its not about the man Paul. Think it out.
Yes but remember he was not the only one who recieved this nor was he the only one who taught it. In your pm to me you said the gospel Paul taught as if there was any difference in what he taught and the other deciples I was just making sure you weren't in one of those followers of Paul groups

You are ignoring Gods word. You disobey the gospel of Christ. This is my last contact with you.
I am not here to debate till the cows come home. You need to believe in the gospel Paul was given by Christ.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Maby you have learned it not better.
Then think about this. Through which Gospel came the people to Christ, while Paul as Saul persequtet them?
If you still clsim that your teaching is correct, and denying Gods word. Then i dont believe that you have the Holy Spirit.
And according Romans 8, 9,-17 without the Holy Spirit, you not belong to Christ.

Tripe, hogwash, dung. Baalam's ass just spoke.
Matthew, Mark, Luke or John has the message thru & thru. The Gospel means Good News. The entire life of Christ is the Gospel. Paul was the disciple to the Gentiles but Hebrews is for those more in tune with Levitical laws and Revelations is more about ressurection of the dead & the rapture. The Lord's return, 2 judgements and the rest of eternity. It all sounds like Good News to us. Bad news for Lucifer, Beelzebub, Asherah, Baal, Hitler, Stalin...

The entire new testament is the Gospel that helps to save.

Only Jesus saves
I see your frustrations and we have that in common. it’s an impossible arguement when we start by rejecting what the gospel even is being written in four accounts literally called the gospel of Matthew , the gospel of mark , the gospel of Luke and gospel of John

Yet it’s popular to Look to One of his servants and witnesses only because of this

“And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:15-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this isn’t good news to someone who won’t hear it

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but believers hear good news there knowing we all face death it doesn’t get much better

Anabaptistists opposed the Roman Church from the beginning and never accepted thr Roman mix of Idolatry, with christianity and politics. We never believed that Peter was the first Pope and unless he was exumed from Antioch and buried under the Vatican. There's no Biblical support that Peter had ever been near Rome. Sola Scriptura. No King is or ever has ever been or ever will be equal to Jesus. We only serve Jesus. We believe the entire Bible. We don't cherry pick. I was believed way before I discovered there is a real denomination that sees it the same way. Meno Simmions was a monk like Luther. He didnt know about anabaptism either. Pope Clement 6 ordered us to be round up anx executed becaused we refused to accept Vatican heresy.

Good look believing in religion. I don't I'm putting you on ignore. Have a better life. G-bye.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Paul was chosen by God to preach the gospel he had received from Christ.

Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Which gospel are you trusting for salvation?

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Why Paul's gospel only?

This gospel Paul had received from Christ was not known before it was revealed to him.

Eph_3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Eph_6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Rom_16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

There is no other gospel for you to be saved by today.
The natural mind will repeat, look and wait for outside observation the greatest born by womb, Saul types where great at reading OT as secular history leaving the greatest born by women blind, John Baptist also blind about God in them.

Matt 11:11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Luke 17:20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you..

Phil 2:5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Paul who was Saul was like John Baptist and looked for God outside like we all have done until? Not by man, nor can we boost about free waking/son of Gods from inside when ready and not with work our study. Neville Goddard correct about what is God in you. Imagination in man can be good and evil, so to Judge against others will return on you.

Paul when waken from Saul beliefs knew OT was Allegory! Gal 4:24Which things are an allegory:

Ecclesiastes 3:15:

“That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.”
The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”

This was a bit preachy, and it does not mesh with the church of me. This is a bunch of distractions and timewasting in my book. I do not have time to waste on the vaticanstuff. I may write down meno simmions if that is important and I should read a book about it. My currrent favoured preacher is Cece Winans at the moment. She is very wise, pure and positive, a great example. Try some black churches with some fun, without arguing. My church do not go around trying to convert you, we are just talking to eachother. If you are wrong, you are welcome to be wrong. I must not make you see it right. If I force, pester and manipulate you to change your faith, then I take your faith away from you. So I am not doing that. Good luck

Church's should not be concerned about Race. I was talking about church history anyway. What caused the great scisims.I read the bible every day. this morning I studied in private over an hour and with a group 1 1/2 hrs.

The first 2 verses I can recall memorizing is psalm 1:1 & 2. 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Hehe, you are a good reader it seems. I opened my bible today, but decided to not read it today, wrong verse suggested. So I just had some fun, ate some good food, and did somedecorating and cleaning instead. I think it is schisms, but not sure. I do not care about that. I told you over and over that it is personal, thousand various reasons for the christians fractioning into various denominations. Who cares, unless you write a historybook about politics and rulers who used religion. Not relevant to the then or the now, or the aftermath.

Nice verse actually. Nice picture, the exact same picture that I have on another account I just logged into, that I have not checked out for many weeks, nice. Facepicture with a beard, with some trees behind, and mountains behind that again. That is the way to do it. Anyways, I do not have much other photos. Took some photos before I trimmed my beard, you have a long way to go to get there. Beard is important. Not covering grey hair is important. Not be vain. Unless you want to of course.

I believe Bible & church history are very important because history repeats itself. I look to what has happened before in the Bible for example and see if it repeats itself. And if it has how many times and how severe was the outcome. I postulate how likely it is to happen again. And I compare old testament prophecy to New Testament fulfillment.

I check the names of places with ancient maps and then find out what the name of the places now. Right now our morning study group is in Ezekiel and know that Chaldea, Babylon & Iraq are in the same area. In different translations Chaldea & Babylon were interchangeable. Then when we read future prophecy we know where the prophets were talking about. It's solid clues regarding Revelation yet to be fulfilled.

That's how I study, but I have that kind of time and luxury because I'm retired with no dependents or co dependents.

Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. That's me.

I pro actively study the Bible. I used to work in Counseling, Crisis intervention, suicide prevention, addiction and for a year I was a volunteer at the Orange County Rescue mission. I was even was an associate with Set Free / Soldiers for Christ ministries. I answered phones for Trinity Broadcasting Network and the Hotline Help Center in Orange County Ca.

I have told you before. The gospel.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

For you to be saved You need to believe it.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Paul does not say join any Christian religion or denominational group. He does not say become a Christian.
Paul received this gospel from Christ.

Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

So what is to be seen here in the light of faith. Are you going to believe God or men.

The NT is not only the letters from Paul, who was a special called person.
I know people who denys the teaching of Paul. You seems to fall down on the other side of the horse.
You cant ignore f.e. the book of Acts which reportet from the beginning of the church and its first decades. (Paul btw playes a big role in Acts. ) if you want to teach the truth.
The cake is the whole bible. In your eyes seems there are only Pauls letters the cake.
Its a piece( important) of the cake.
If you take away the piece of Luke and Acts f.e. you take away from Gods word. In the end of the book of revealation its written what it means to remove or add to Gods word.

Exit from what. I am a believer, saved and sealed. Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

The word " Christian" is not in my Bible. The apostle Paul has not written anywhere in his epistles to become a Christian.
Yes it is in the bible.

You got that wrong also
