Not true, rape/incest/ medical make up 4% of abortions according to Guttmacher. Wherever your link got their stats, their utterly wrong.
I don't think you are following the discussion,or opened the link.

Further, if you have evidence that proves what is actually contained in the link I posted to prove it "utterly wrong", post it.

Science can't tell you whether you're a man or a woman anymore. We have over 60 "genders". Science means nothing this day in age.
Facebook isn't representative of valid science. There are two genders.
The Sodom & Gomorrah social experiment isn't credible science. It's damnable perversion orchestrated to eradicate common sense and decency under the excuse those qualities in the individual could upset person's not so inclined.

In other words, sit quiet and accept the perverse Satanic reset of common sense and decency, because it has been deemed politically correct to concede those qualities because the immoral and perverse have a constitutional right not to be upset.

are you asking about the death penalty?
When has it ever been okay to kill a school-aged child?

Are you talking about the death penalty?
Yes I'm talking about the death penalty.

And the mindset that says "my rights are paramount, even if it means any whack-a-doodle can exercise their right to go shoot up a classroom".

The mindset that won't submit to a background check so we can weed out the whack-a-doodles.

Because, you know, Jesus taught that whack-a-doodles have rights too. And commandment no. 11, thou shalt covet thy AR15.

I am still not clear about what you are saying. Are you asking if the death penalty according to the Old testament is righteous?

Or are you asking about gun control?

Or is this a swipe at President Biden and Hunter Biden for lying on the forms to get a gun, violating the laws in disposing of the gun, and how instead of prosecuting him they covered it up all while hypocritically calling for even more gun control?

True enough, but they still call it "science". Just try to tell them differently. They believe it to be a scientific fact, and they are teaching it as such.

Well, you're free to believe whatever you wish, but I did open the link. My point is simply this, and it is fact according to Guttmacher, medical/rape/incest are four percent of abortions.

A gun has never killed anyone. The person who uses the gun does the killing. You don't take rights away from innocent people because someone misuses said item. We have all kinds of laws on the books that aren't being enforced now. Background checks wouldn't have stopped most of the mass shootings that have happened. Criminals will find a way.

"The Guttmacher Institute says that fourteen thousand abortions per year are due to rape or incest, which amounts to just over 1 percent of all abortions. Other studies show that pregnancies due to rape are much rarer than is generally thought, perhaps as few as one in a thousand cases. Statistics are often self-serving."
Searched DDG because they may be better than Google for this, using your claim about Guttmacher's statistics. The findings in those sources don't comport with your percentage claim.
DDG results

Medical rape, incest?

That claim at least revokes another's claim here when they stated 99% of pregnancies are due to consensual sex.

Do you believe a child or woman impregnated by incest or rape are entitled to choose abortion?

Do you have published evidence of this? From credible science sources?

Sorry if I'm not being clear. I'm kinda popping in and out between things I should be doing instead ;)

I'm just commenting on how life seems to be so sacred when it's in the womb, yet once it's born it's not sacred at all.

Once born, we'll let it work 80 hour work weeks for a sub-living wage.

We'll let it get sick and die rather than provide affordable health care.

We'll let it get shot to pieces because by God we all have a right to own a gun (even tho Jesus never had one).

We'll gladly kill it if it commits certain crimes.

That's what I'm getting at, how we vehemently protect the unborn yet once born you're all on your own sucker.

It's funny how we cling to God's word to save the unborn. Yet we abandon God's words on how to act towards the living.

That's what I'm saying.

SO we just turn a blind eye and say too bad so sad when it happens

Gun violence and control is not a red herring. It's a red whale, it's so off topic for this thread.

I knew it was coming, and here it is. DOJ is suing Texas.

Jesus never owned a car, either. Should we get rid of all vehicles because 37,000 Americans die in car accidents every year?

You're right, we live in a sin-filled world. We were told that toward the end, the love of many would wax cold.

(True) Christians aren't abandoning the Word on how to treat others. Some have ministries to help the homeless, some take in pregnant teens, some take care of the elderly, others take the gospel to those in prison, and some fight for the rights of unborn humans. We each are parts to the body and serve in different ways. I think we all care about ALL those issues but we're led to act where Yahweh leads. I don't see that as "uncaring".

A man publicly kills an innocent young child by sucking out her brain with a vacuum tube.
The nearby crowd gathers around the man to stone him to death, until he says-
"Guys... her mother was raped!"
The crowd sighs with relief and carries on, going about their business.

The article claimed that rapists subconsciously choose victims based on the highest likelihood that the victim will get pregnant. I thought that was a weird claim.

Cars don't kill people, people with cars kill people.

That's why you have to study, take a test, and get a license to drive a car. Not so with a gun.

Gee, your analogy kinda falls apart right there, doesn't it?

And no, this wasn't a gun control thread and I'm sorry for derailing it into one. But the original reason for the comparison still stands... why is life inside the womb so sacred, but once born it's not?

Right to abortion and right to shoot children is a valid comparison

Right to abortion and right to bear arms is not.

It is not wrong to bear arms. It is wrong to bear arms to commit crimes or irresponsibly.

Go back and address the point ... guns are used to kill, cars are used to kill. Why require a license for one but not the other?
