Carbon dating cannot go beyond about 6,000 years: "half the mass of carbon-14, an unstable isotope of carbon, will decay into nitrogen-14 over a period of 5,730 years." So that is where our focus should be.
Gooid point Nehemiah.

Show me where the Word of God says that the age of the universe is the age of human life
Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Age of Universe = 6 days + Biblical Genealogical Record + 2000, which adds to 6,000 years. If "science" excludes God's supernatural creative power, then it deserves no mention in this thread.

it is men misinterpretation of time that has calculated....
anything other than what the Written Word of God says.

how old is our uninverse and our earth, This may suprise some of you, but its as old as God.
In the mind of God he allready created the earth from the begining.
We have to understand that everything in the mind of God is forever, And the mind oF God is eternal, What does eternal mean ? well its a moment of time that stands still forever. Like if you asked God, how long have you been eating angel cake for. he would say oh forever you know.
The seed of light is in our universe, it was allways waiting to go bang from the begining,

Whether it was six literal back-to-back 24 hour days, or whether there was a period of time between Day One and Day Two, etc, doesn't change a thing: "In the beginning God..." I'm completely satisfied with those first four words, and need no further evidence or proof than that which I already have, e.g., among other things, the more than 300 prophesies fulfilled by Jesus, the historical record and eyewitness testimonies, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit in me.

You made an error which undermines your argument: you injected the word "again" into the text. It isn't there. Nothing in the text suggests that Adam ate of the tree of life prior to eating of the tree of knowledge.

You also ignored the clear text that states Adam's age. Time does not equal death; again, your argument is deeply flawed.
First off I didn't quote Genesis 3:22 as it is written.
Second off Genesis 2:16-17 before God even made Eve he told Adam that he could eat of every tree except the tree of knowledge and if the tree of knowledge was there, then the tree of life was there too.
Adam even named all the animals before God made Eve - Genesis 2:19- 20 and I doubt it seriously if he did it instantaneously, considering the number of species of cattle, fowl, beast that was upon the Earth, even then - and you trying to tell me Adam didn't eat. Even though nowhere in the Bible does it say he ate anything until he ate from the Tree of knowledge - a whole chapter was written before then - and God did tell him that the herbs were for meat, God did tell him to eat of every tree except for one - those scriptures alone should tell one with common sense Adam ate.
And there is no clear text in scripture concerning Adams age - prove it, since you say there is.
Third off _ if you live - you age - and death by natural causes means time has taken is toll on you. "Time = Death," unless you know a human that has been alive for thousands of years and still walk the earth.
Your argument is flawed and you have the made errors.
And I think I'll add ___ Romans 5:12 wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned. 1st Corinthians 15:21 for since by Man came death, by man also come the resurrection of the Dead.
You can think what you want to think, you can believe what you want to believe, you can say what you want to say as is your right. And I have the right to mine whether / regardless of you. I try never to say someone is in error - by respecting their opinions, I give my own, then there are people like you who quick to say another is wrong, and in most cases not really thinking it through!

Since they won't let me edit my reply to you - I write this ...
Show me in scripture the age of Adam """before he sinned""" that is what my initial statement is concerning - how long Adam existed before he ate from the Tree of knowledge.

We are only told Adam's age in context with the birth of Seth and Adam's total age in years when Adam died.

Genesis 5:"3 When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth. 4And after he had become the father of Seth, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5So Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died."

Genesis 5:3-5 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.

It's really better to avoid making dogmatic statements when you don't know the facts. :)

I try never to say someone is in error - by respecting their opinions, I give my own, then there are people like you who quick to say another is wrong, and in most cases not really thinking it through!
That's your opinion, and I disagree with you. ;)

There is a five-minute limit to editing a post. Proofread before you post and proofread again immediately after.

Thank you, I agree, there is no mention of Adams age before he ate of the tree of knowledge. There are many these days who believe Adam and Eve through the Tree of Life had immortality, thus all of their offspring. https://biologos.org/common-questions/did-death-occur-before-the-fall/

Dogmatic statements - ha ha being nice - again you are referring to Adams age after he sinned. Again nowhere in scripture does it say Adams age before he sinned. And yes it is my opinion and the opinion of many others as is yours https://thetorah.com/article/attaining-and-forfeiting-adams-immortality-at-sinai

Only a jackdonkey would bring up that idea AFTER making his own point. If you're going to be self-righteous like that, don't enter these discussions in the first place.

Animals were given one command: be fruitful and multiply. The text does not say that animals were immortal prior to the fall, and I can not imagine sharks eating nothing but seaweed. However, the text does imply that man had immortality as long as he did not eat of the forbidden fruit. It was on the day that Adam ate of fruit that death occurred. One can reasonably infer from the text that, after the fall, immediate spiritual death occurred and certain future physical death would occur, because God said so, and the tree of life was now off limits.

To the skeptic, a stumbling block. To the believer, it doesn't really matter.
You are so correct, the age of the Earth or the age of Adam doesn't matter. Your relationship with God and whether you will be redeemed is where salvation occurs. This is just conversation - expressing one's views, preferably without insulting or name-calling as some do.

anything other than what the Written Word of God says.
Then when the Bible says one day anywhere in Scripture it should be interpreted as one day and not one week, or one month, or one year Christians do.
Days and and weeks are interpreted differently throughout scripture, meaning, so what you're saying should apply to all.
That's why it's a lot of people are leaving Christianity and why non-believers are so abundant.
Then that is part of prophecy - there will come a falling away first _ that the righteous scarcely makes it.
And scripture says 1000 years to God is as one day - not is one day big difference. Not on here to debate my beliefs as scripture says don't debate scripture. Those of you who want to go right ahead. And those of you who resort to name-calling the Lord is watching you too.
