You don't love the law as you claim. If you ioved the law, you would lift Jesus higher than the iaw, which you don't, rather you go on and on about the law. You'd be more credible if you'd exalt Jesus as much as you exalted the law.

Again you don't love the law. Our Redeemer is the focal part of Scripture who redeemed us from the curse of the law.

They are blessed for the Fathers sake, not for any law keeping.

Romans 11:28 (KJV) As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

Doublespeak. Posts can be on anything you want them to be, just be prepared for the pushback when you talk crazy.
So I am not allowed to speak for myself? I say I love the law, you say I don't. I say we are saved by faith, you say I don't say that. You give me quotes that are only from your mind.

What in the world is this who "raises the law above" ---above what?

You say the law is a curse, not that the curse is that we are dead if we disobey without Christ, but the law itself if a curse. I say we are saved from that curse through Christ. You seem to deny that the Lord blesses us when we obey, what is this stuff about blessing for the Father's sake? You are not making sense.

Perhaps you think the only blessing the Father gives is salvation, and through faith you are right, God blesses faith. This blessing that results from repentance and faith is salvation. The Lord gives other blessings. Try to read scripture, read about the fruits of the spirit.

The curse is that disobedience to law causes our death. Please read scripture, it is there. The blessing of the law is given all through scripture, but if you are sincere about your question, then read the 119th psalm. God gives you a long explanation of the blessing of the law in that psalm.

I'm saying if you truly loved the Law, you would be exalting in Jesus Christ (who fully kept the Law in your stead) instead of constantly droning on and on about how you love the Law.

It's there alright, it's there, right here...

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
(1Co 15:56)

BTW, what is your opinion of Apostle Paul?

The curse is that NO ONE CAN KEEP THE LAW, break if even by stumbling in one point your dead,

so if it curses everyone who breaks it even once, IT CAN NEVER BLESS US.

paul spent so much time trying to share this with you, and you totally ignore it,

This post DOES exultt in Jesus Christ. Jesus is not against the law, Jesus says if you love Him you will obey Him and Jesus spoke for for law. If you love Jesus you love the law Jesus tells us of.

When we love the law it does not mean we misuse the law to gain salvation, that would be using law in the wrong way.

NO. refusing Christ causes our death. the law points to Christ who sums it up with 2 commandments, and if anyone thinks they know the law they do not know it at all if they cannot see the entire law ENFORCES love and puts God first

we no longer have enforced love if the love of Christ dwells in our hearts

Please read scripture,
read it with understanding and not as personal opinion

The blessing of the law is given all through scripture
not one single person has ever gained life through the law. thousands of innocent animals had to die and even then their blood could not remove sin

you are trying to teach error and you refuse the truth which is why you are stuck in your error

there is no blessing in keeping the law. it brings only death

All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. Galatians 3:10

do not be cursed people. you cannot keep the law. don't mess with it...don't play with it...it is a curse

this is as serious as it gets. study the law by all means...it helps you to understand the New Testament since it was written by Jewish people who received Christ

but do not make the mistake of thinking you are blessed in any way to follow it, observe it and worse, teach others to do the same

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

If you obey Him, you will heed such teachings of His as this...

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

I agree that refusing Christ causes death. And you are skating on thin ice when you refuse to listen to what Christ tells you about the law. I shows that you have no faith in Christ, and we are saved through faith not works.

Christ has set us free from bondage to sin, that is what freedom in Christ means.

People get God's law all mixed up with helps God gave the Hebrews to know the law. They think the command to cut skin, and what they should eat is the law of the Lord. It never was, and is not now. They were tutors to help know the law as they were to see the way they reflected the law of the Lord. Those tutors are not needed any longer, the holy spirit tutors us. Now, because they are so mixed up with misinterpretation scholars give about the words of the Lord they come up with the idea that God cancelled His law and there is no more spirit of the law. They are stuck in the old covenant while proclaiming to the world they are new covenant.

actually you are saying that we need to listen to you

why is it you have to threaten people and tell them they have no faith or they are not saved?

who are you to judge another in that way? perhaps God is speaking to you about those things and you think it is everyone else

Once again you have no comprehension of the law

when you put yourself under law you put yourself under condemnation. If you can put yourself under law and not feel condemned, then you do not understand the law

the tutor to lead us to Christ

You would be a fool if you listened to me as a person, either I speak from God's word or what I say is absolutely nothing. My thoughts are only for you to search scripture to see if I am correct or not.

And it is absolutely wrong of you to say that what I say of scripture is 'threatening PEOPLE". If I say someone would be wrong if they don't listen to God, it is not threatening people, it is stating a biblical truth that I found. If you think it is not a biblical truth, say so, don't accuse me. It is about scripture, not about gunning for people.

It is threatening people. By placing them back under law. You put a burden on them that Israel could not even keep

You know perfectly well that keeping the law is not what we are speaking of, it is WANTING to keep the law. This thread is about whether a saved person should then work for the Lord or not.

To say that you must keep the law perfectly to show you have faith in Christ, is (as I am sure you know) against what scripture tells us. However there are many verses in scripture telling us to obey, to be perfect (even though we can't be), and we are to follow Him. Those verses should not be twisted around to mean that if we aren't perfect we have no faith.

There seems to be demons at work and their work is brought out when anyone speaks of obedience. All sorts of twisting and objections are found. Usually scripture is used in the objections, although it is a twist of scripture, and the motive behind these seems to be working for disobedience to God, although scripture truth is used to promote this disobedience. It is true that works won't save us, that we are dead to sin, that sin was nailed to the cross, that many laws of Moses were cancelled. These are truths from the Lord. They are not to teach disobedience.
