well, being sick and deciding I know, Im going to to watch Friends on netflix one after the other...
I watched about five episodes and yes its funny and great to catch up but
actually Im not sure I would even be friends with these bunch of people in real life.
firstly cos..who really had all that time to hang out in a coffee shop. with the same bunch of people!
secondly did they not ever worry about $$ in their twenties. Apparently not. and they had huge apartments, and zero issues with crime, pollution, landlords, cockroaches, noise..this was meant to be new york city! I think i was meant to be greenwich village or something but still. I have been to manhattan and know its really not like that.
Joey was a lech, Im sorry but he was. He was also freeloading off Chandler, but chandler didnt seem worries about it. In real life he would have kicked him out the flat.
Rachel was a spoiled princess, but Monica also didnt kick her out.
ross and rachel would have found nothing in common after a few years him being so intellectual and she being so not.
Phoebe, well love Phoebe but also, didnt everyone just find her just super annoying.
you couldnt find six working people in different jobs in their 20s hanging out together in a coffee shop day after day. where do you ever see that.... not in the real world! didnt any of them ever want to be alone?
