Hi there Jemma! Welcome, welcome, welcome!

My two cents: If trying to get your life back on track, you can do so by turning to Christ for his Spiritual Circumcision of the Heart. Ask Him to remove the Curse that was beset us all in the Garden of Eden, via the unholy work of Adam and Eve. Here is a description of the Holy Operation of Christ, per the NLT. If you like the KJV, that translation is unbelievable as well.

Jesus isn't just a Healer, but a Holy Surgeon!

Colossians 2:10-15 NLT - "So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

By turning to Christ for His exclusive operation, He will get your life back on track for you, for He will give you the Effectual, Indwelling Holy Spirit Who will cause you to obey. Here is the Old Testament Promise of God Himself:

Ezekiel 36:25-27 KJV - "Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

You are so sweet. Thank you :)
Your welcome
Last week the verse was Matthew 18:18-19 I was telling a story about its verse helped me to get Carrie Underwood concert tickets how it was a huge God moment for me. I also talked about body image for my friends who struggle with it. I’m from 🇺🇸 but you can always join my Bible study during the week if you missed it.

Hello Jemma, welcome to CChat! Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself, and for the offer to ask you anything that we want to as well :) Hmm, I think I'll ask you a question right now.

My question was "the" question that was being asked (here in the States) back when I was about your age (about 40-45 years ago), though I doubt that anyone believed that it would ever be answered. So, you are welcome to take it seriously, as tongue in cheek (as most do), or just avoid answering it altogether ;) So now, w/o further ado, here is my question,

"what is the meaning of life"

God bless you! (Isaiah 41:10; Jeremiah 29:11)

Hi, Jemma.

I don't know what temporarily derailed you, but Jesus Christ is the answer to all of life's problems.

May he richly bless your time here and elsewhere.

Welcome.

Welcome to CC, sister Jemma!:):coffee: Jesus love you so much. Just a little talk with Jesus can get your life back on track. His blood makes it that simple for all of us. For sure, some people on here will ask you anything. I just tell them it's all about Jesus, not Oyster.(y)

"what is the meaning of life"
I know this is not my question, but it is such a good question that we should all chime in, methinks!!!!

---> to recieve the Precious Gift of Jesus that was made freely available to all through His Blood shed on the Cross. This marks the beginning of a brand new life in which we can grow a little closer to Jesus every day!:) Hallelujah, what a Savior!:D

Luke
24:13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem [about] threescore furlongs.
24:14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
24:15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed [together] and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
