I think we may have the beginnings of a 'speak your mind' band...

Rubys volunteered to be the singer..Zero plays instruments, Magenta plays guitar.... I play guitar/bass etc. I think things are looking good :LOL:.. Just remembered zero sings aswell.
 
If grits are "done right" - they are neither gummy nor mushy - the texture is ever-so-slightly just-a-little on the gritty side of creamy - being neither too dry nor having too much liquid - smooth, with no clumping.

In other words - if they are "done right", they will be "just right"...

Corn is put through a chemical bath process that causes it to swell up and changes its taste and texture.

Now you have hominy - which is then ground up to make grits.

When you guys say the south, is that all the states in the south region (East to West)?

Everything south of the Mason-Dixon line from Texas eastward to the Atlantic ocean.

Lol, well, it’s Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama (the Great State, mind you😁), Georgia and South Carolina. I’m purdy sure Panhandle Florida oughta be too, cause that’s Alabama much as anything.
