If that was correct, then no one would survive to be raptured. You are therefore incorrect.
Many living at that time will refuse to worship and take the mark of the beast. (Rev 13:8) The scripture does not state that all will be captured and killed.

Doesn't Revelation 20:4 allude to this?

The mark of the beast won't just be a mark on the body it will mean having to worship the beast. No worship of beast makes it likely those who refuse will be killed

This is why those whose names aren't yet in the Lambs book of life are at risk of receiving this mark. why we must pray for them!
Good day, EnglishChick,

Just fyi, everyone's name whom God chose, were written in the book of life before the world even began. Check out the following scriptures:

"And all who dwell on the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb who was slain." - Rev.13:8

"And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be.

These scriptures demonstrate that there were names that were not written in the book of life and that there were names that were written, which took place before the world began.

It does seem likely it may be a chip

What is scary is that surely most people would be rioting and protesting and petitioning if this is our in place? We would think so. But am guessing this beast will be so convincing that many will be deceived by him, like They were deceived by that other antichrist, Hitler
"The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie, in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.

The anti-Christ is also known as the man of sin or man of lawlessness. If you want to know what the mark of the beast could be then look at him: it could be a religion of lawlessness and faith in sin. That would be the literal definition of the term anti-Christ. Therefore, followers of the anti-Christ would also be people of lawlessness and sin.

That doesn't mean there won't be a literal mark such as a tattoo or implant to signal to others who they are in order to buy and sell.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, 9-12
3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

9-12
9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Rapture has nothing to do with the reign of the Antichrist. In fact, the Antichrist could not take total control of the world without the Church and the Holy Spirit being "taken out of the way" (removed from earth to Heaven). See 2 Thessalonians 2.
Notice Paul tells the people in 2 Thess. 2:1-4 that the gathering together unto Jesus will not occur until after the son of perdition is revealed and sits in the temple claiming to be God. This is what is referred to as the abomination of desolation in Daniel chapter 11. It would stand to reason then that the revealing of the antichrist is what is holding back the coming of the Lord. It's about God's timing. Considering this, the Holy Spirit would still be present on Earth. If you recall, the 2 witnesses in Rev. 11 are called up into heaven by the Spirit. (Rev. 11:11-12) We know resurrection power is only possible through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

It does. The people who are raptured survived the Great Tribulation proving that refusing the mark is not automatically a death sentence.

Hello fellow Christians. I have a question that I hope some of you can provide insight on, when it comes to the mark of the beast it is said to be on the RIGHT HAND or on the forehead.

Assuming we are dealing with a literal mark here, such as an RFID chip or something similar, what happens if someone takes it on their left hand? Does he/she just get a pass? I would assume no.

But why in particular is the right hand mentioned? Is there some technology that requires it to be on the right hand, or what? Anyone who knows? @Ahwatukee I would like to hear your view on this.
The antichrist, New Age Christ, is controlled by the devil to deceive the world to rebel against God.

Which when he starts working in the world he will push the agenda of the new age movement until the world rebels against God.

The new age movement interprets the Bible and all religions according to the occult and evolution, and people are still evolving to be greater and spiritual which is how the people will exalt themselves thinking they will be godlike.

The right hand symbolizes power and authority as well as the forehead.

Psa 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

God is at the right hand of the saints for He is their power and authority.

Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

And the name of God and the Lamb shall be written in the foreheads of the saints for they are their power and authority and belong to them.

Since the man of sin, New Age Christ, wants worship and to be above the people claiming to be God he will use the right hand or the forehead for the devil wants to be the people's power and authority.

That is why there is no repentance or salvation available anymore to those that take the mark of the beast for they are saying it is all about people with no personal God above them and the New Age Christ is their authority.

And then can end sin on earth for there is no use in allowing the world to continue if no one can be saved anymore.

The devil must know what the right hand and forehead represent so he is using that symbolic meaning to have authority over the people that cannot be reversed.

This is what it seems to me.

It seems we are doing a right-fine job right now of letting [an entity] that you wouldn't call the 'Antichrist' take over the whole world...

There is more than one way to be "taken out of the way"... :geek:
