I wouldn't turn to that site for answers.
If I post something, I have already filtered it. But you are welcomed to refute any claim in it and ill explain it in more depth if need be. I agree with the link entirely so what part do you disagree with?

I took care of my late second wife who was crippled with psoriatic arthritis along with other severe medical issues. At the same time, I was working full time. Also did all of the housework and anything necessary to keep things running. This was for the entire 11 years and 2 months we were married. She was not in the best of health when we first got married and her condition steadily deteriorated. At the end, I authorized the attending physician to take her off the respirator which was the only thing keeping her alive. At that point, she was in a coma that she would not wake from. Yeah, I'm all set with persevering through incredible burdens.
That's not easy to do . . . at all. And . . . did you also have anyone accusing you of falsely abusing your wife? Hopefully, you didn't have to deal with Adult Protective Services . . . that is a corrupt system!

Well, by default I would say that the entire premise is off because the site seems to believe that a person is never relieved of the Curse . . . which is essentially what you're saying when you say that you have rottenness in your heart (sorry if I did not paraphrase correctly).

I can't agree with that because this idea flies directly into the face of the Purpose for the entire Bible being written.

BTW: I'm not into rehashing like most on this site; I won't be going round and round in circular conversation. (Sorry if I sound rude . . . just very tired of "christians" not getting along.)

I haven't a clue as to what you're upset about.
While I see where youre coming from, if I were in Tourists vulnerable position, i would find it a hurtful if someone asked me if i was falsely accused of abuse or had to deal with "adult protective services"
While Im sure u didnt mean it in a bad way, if someone is hurt it could make the hurt worse and come across diffrently than intended. Thats what i meant

Yeah. A little paranoid, I'd say. I have been taking care of an elderly man in his eighties for three years. Two of them have been in a fierce battle with Adult Protective Services, being accused of all kinds of unbelievable things . . . including as being thought of the next Stephen Paddock . . . because I had a .22 cal rifle. I have been accused of physically harming him, not getting him to ER, stealing his money . . . you name it. This man took me at age 14 because my parents did not want me. Therefore, this man is like my True Father.

For the last 8 months, I have been in such incredible trouble that I have been facing being put onto a Registered Offenders List because of the alleged abuse. Think about that. How difficult would it be to get a job where I can't work with the elderly or youth.

When . . . oh, when will "christians" stop judging each other!!!

Hey...

So, I was out earlier, and this thought came to me:

Lanolin might think that your comments here were directed towards her.

In case that was the Lord prompting me, I just want to say that my earlier comments were generic in nature, and not aimed towards any specific individual. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Thanks.

I was taught that as a Christian, or at least a respectable human being, that we ask clarifying questions before we leap down other's throats. Anything less than that is colossal immaturity.

No one accused me of anything as I did nothing wrong. As well as working full time I was also her full time caregiver. My late second wife died by degrees each and everyday so it was quite hard to remain spiritually upbeat and supportive to her. I gave her my all which was my very best using the resources that God graciously provided. The truth was, I was dying by degrees each day too watching her suffer and feeling completely helpless watching her wither away.

Sounds brutal, my brother. These things are not easy to deal with . . . I'm so glad that you were there for your wife as you were. You have endured a most difficult struggle . . . and no doubt you have endured and will prosper in Heaven for your physical and Spiritual Work. I wish we had more people like you on this planet; it'd be a different place . . . for sure.

Didn't you know that when people "dump their problems" on you that it's more like a cry for help? We don't know how much people go through and people struggle. These are chances to pray for them and maybe share your own experiences about how God has helped you.

I didnt judge you. If i did that I wouldve worded things waaay differently. But thanks for accusing me of judging you. I just wanted to point out how your comment could be perceived. Sorry for offending you
Your situation is very very painful, hard and challenging. I dont want to imagine how you feel when getting up in the morning. And I wish I could help you but I cant. All i can offfer is prayers

Precisely.

II Corinthians chapter 1

[3] Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
[4] Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Do you sometimes feel like people dump their problems on you.

I sometimes think so, but then again, maybe I am doing it to someone else without realising it. But then what do you with your problem do you pass it along to someone else, or do you deal with it yourself, or do you just tell God.
I don't know if I would use "dump" but yes, I find that people often confide in me. I think it's because I listen, consider carefully, and give decent advice. And probably that they know I always keep things confidential encourages them to come to me.

But I have leaned heavily on other friends in though times also, so I feel its a give-and-take. My 2 cents

We are discussing scripture not hashing anything out.

You will have to post evidence related the curse. But back to sanctification. You describe it and the difference between glorification.

I believe you are only confused can you can be both perfected and still be vulnerable to sin. I'll explain more if necessary.
