Do you sometimes feel like people dump their problems on you.

I sometimes think so, but then again, maybe I am doing it to someone else without realising it. But then what do you with your problem do you pass it along to someone else, or do you deal with it yourself, or do you just tell God.

I think a lot of problems would not be so problematic if we just told God about them. I think sometimes we forget about Him and quickly lose grey matter and brain cells worrying over something that we cant fix.

We can ask God if we just dont understand something. To ask for wisdom and understanding isnt being stupid, its actually being smart. I think many people feel stupid for asking as if they are just meant to know everything there is to know already about life, but how unrealistic is that?

That's a very good question. As I have pondered and written about the word "Confidence," I have found that most people have no clue that they are shoving off their weaknesses and insecurities onto others. The Truth is, is that we do not have the right to push our weaknesses and insecurities off and onto others . . . these are the real culprits in this world.

If we hope to stop hurting other people, it seems evident that we've got to start believing in ourselves as individuals. If we don't have a healthy, balanced view of ourselves, the world, and all that is in it . . . it is a fact that we will make other people miserable. Therefore, the question that I find to be most interesting is this:

Do we have the right to be weak and insecure (if they cause others pain and grief?)

No. We don't. We need to grow up; mature; get our heads screwed on straight, etc.

Well, all I can say is I am glad Jesus doe's not think he is a dumping ground when I give Him my problems, doubts and even Joys in my life.

Your right we shouldn't want to hurt or cause pain to others, but I don't believe in myself as an individual because I know of the rottenness that is still in my heart. I look to the light of Jesus, and believe and trust in Him to change me day by day, to be more like Him so that I do not cause hurt or pain to anyone else.

I don't think it's a case of do we have a right or not to feel weak or insecure.. we are after all still struggling with the flesh and a fallen world sometimes life can get on top of us but as we grow in our walk we have this promise:

## Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:2-4).

## Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Phillipians 4:6-7).

## The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:31.

## To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people (Titus 3:2).

And your definitely right about seeking wisdom:

## If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him (James 1:5).

Your Heart hasn't been Purified by Christ yet?

Colossians 2:11 NLT - "When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature."

Jesus did that to me and now I'm a new Creation (Rom 12:2) . . . the Old Man is gone and the New has come. Haven't you turned to Christ for Purification?

I am not perfect yet. But one day.

Colossians 2:10, the second verse of the seven-verse set (above), says that a True Christian is complete in Christ. You're not complete in Christ . . . yet?

Colossians 2:10 KJV - "And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power"

Yes, I'm complete in Christ. Have been set free from slavery to sin to serve Him, and yet I can say with Paul and John (Galatians 5:16 -26; 1 John 1:7-9).

Look up the difference between sanctification and glorification in Christ.

At work I seemed to be a magnet for others to dump their problems on me. I considered work to be an important part of my service to the Lord.

I like it when people dump their problems to me as it provides me the opportunity to share the wisdom of God and if need be salvation.

That's exactly how I feel and also consider it an opportunity to humbly serve the Lord.

If you're able, tell us what the most incredible burden that's ever been put onto you . . . and how you served the Lord with gladness in your heart.

I recall Tourist shared previously how he looked after his wife when she was dying.

a lot of people dont want to be in position of caregiver, its a demanding task to do everything for someone else and I dont blame them if they dont want to be, but its very loving to be selfless and set aside everything and your own time for someone elses welfare.

This is what mothers do though some do it without complaint which is amazing whilst others complain about how their children are a burden all the time...to the point where they just want to be rid of them.

I'll throw in my two cents worth.

Here comes the first penny:

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)

Anybody who professes to be a Christian while having no desire to help bear the burdens of others KNOWS NOTHING of what Paul called "the law of Christ".

NOTHING!!!

Here's the reverse side of that same penny:

Matthew chapter 23

[1] Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
[2] Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
[3] All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
[4] For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

It is the SELF-RIGHTEOUS PHARISEES who will not move even one of their fingers in relation to the heavy burdens of others. Instead, they take pleasure in binding the same upon them.

That about sums it up.

Keep the change.

I took care of my late second wife who was crippled with psoriatic arthritis along with other severe medical issues. At the same time I was working full time. Also did all of the housework and anything necessary to keep things running. This was for the entire 11 years and 2 months we were married. She was not in the best of health when we first got married and her condition steadily deteriorated. At the end I authorized the attending physician to take her off the respirator which was the only thing keeping her alive. At that point she was in a coma that she would not wake from. Yeah, I'm all set with persevering through incredible burdens.
