now America is the laughing stock of the world.
rationally and realistically speaking, America lost a great deal of respect worldwide during the Trump years.
i don't know much about you, but i work at a fortune 500 company with a very big international presence. every day i am working with with people from all over the world, Chinese, German, French, British, Mexican, African, Czech, Israeli, Saudi, Belgian, Canadian, Indian, Vietnamese etc.
i talk to these people. i take breaks with these people and hear them speaking frankly. the world thinks America has gone to $#&@ when we put Trump in office. they think most of us are absolute brainwashed lunatics. the smart ones - which is like 95% of the ones i work with, because they are professionals in my lab for good reasons, understand that not all of America is like this. and they are all very,
very pleased that we, as a nation, changed course.
so to me -- having some actual experience outside the little pro-Trump cultic bubble i am assuming you get 100% of your fake information from -- you sound so ridiculous and falsely informed it would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.
so here's the thing -- you could face reality and say that we lost respect all over the world when Trump was in office, tho we gained respect all over when Obama led the country and are regaining it again now that Trump is out. that's the actual truth. you could accept that, and say, well Trump was righteous and that's why we lost respect with the world.
but you're trying to have it both ways. you want to look at him like a demigod, perfect in all his ways, and you also want to think that the world loved and respected America under his leadership. and you want to sound Christian when you say it. but the world hates Christ.
and the truth of the matter is that America was already a laughing stock. we are ugly to the rest of the world -- vain, stupid, shallow and arrogant full of empty promises. that's been the case a long, long time. and Turoump epitomized that. we
lost all kinds of respect and credibility under him. if we gained anything it was a bit of fear because he was so unhinged and had so little comprehension of tact or diplomacy that the nations had no idea what stupid thing he would do next, or if he would ever listen to reason.
