I don't grant legitimacy. Biden was sworn in as president against my wishes. Trump allowed it to happen, he must be more complicit than any of us by those whose standards are that we aren't to stand behind Christ.

All that some people choose to do, myself included, is to stand behind Christ and acknowledge His sovereignty... while gritting our teeth.

Joe Biden is the president (title) ... Caesar is used as a title as well. We can all think he's illegitimate, but the title still remains. Also, I'd assume you know the "appeal to Caesar" was actually a biblical reference... I didn't make it up or write the bible...

So then the answer to the question is essentially, "nothing differently than Genipher". Understood. So we can dislike Biden and think he's illegitimate and deserves x, y, and z to happen to him because of how he obtained the presidency... In the end, the only difference between Sophie and Genipher is that Genipher "hides" (gets behind) Christ and acknowledges He is sovereign... neither are fans of him. I think Sophie is in the clear for not wanting to make fun of him for falling down though. We probably disagree on this but hopefully we are mentally mature enough to agree to disagree on this point.

There was a call to action to oppose and stop Biden if this was indeed a fraudulent election. It's definitely suspect to say the least. Many people here are saying we ought not to "hide" (stand behind Christ) without actually saying what we should do exactly. Nevertheless, Trump had the high ground when he was president to stop Biden from taking office but he chose to not do anything about it, in other words, he was "complicit" (their words, not mine) in Biden's illegitimate presidency.
