You attributed "original sin" to Satan.

It is not the tree of knowledge, but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
We already knew what Good was by living in it. The tree caused our current view of good and evil as a balance. Do you think if we managed to stay away from original sin ..that we still wouldn't know what good is?

I have already said, Adam knew good by knowing God.

The problem is man deciding for himself what is good, according to his standards, and not God's.

If people even just stopped lying, cheating, and thieving, the
world we live in would be unrecognizable to what it is currently.

Hi pittsburghjoe,

Just a polite request. Would you please refrain from posting Buddhist artwork.

"Alex Grey is an American visual artist, author, teacher, and Vajrayana practitioner
known for creating spiritual and psychedelic paintings"
Thank you.

Do you have something that says why Satan was allowed in the Garden?
Not specifically. But Jesus told Peter that Satan had asked to sift "all of you" like wheat.

I believe that is still applicable. Satan does need God's permission, as per Job.

We overcome through Jesus :)

I don't care what it is ..it is illustrating Satan's perception. It's original sin.

Free will is a misnomer, since the will is constrained by many factors.
Self will on the other hand, is apparent from front to back of the Bible.
Man's will is either aligned with God's, or it is not.

Man's will being constrained does not mean he is not morally responsible for choices he makes.
I call it bound will, but the idea is the same. It's like being inside a limited space, a horse in a round pen can run, but can't get away.

So why are you giving it more airplay?
You don't see value in understanding what this fallen reality view actually is? It is creepy to the max ..but original sin isn't pretty.

I don't need to keep seeing Buddhist new age paintings. The artist is NOT a christian. So you can't pass it off as he is even pretending to be a christian.

All you are doing is promoting his artwork.

God's words are enough to discredit.

They captured something that they didn't know what it was. I don't care who made it, it serves a purpose. Sin is ugly.

If I understand you correctly, after thinking about your questions for a while, you're trying to ask where something is on the spiritual plane. For example, we are individual human beings baptized into body of Christ. Therefore, we may be miles apart geographically but sitting next to each other spiritually because we're in the same body where there is no race, gender, or socioeconomic status. (1 Corinthians 12:23)

We are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the forces of evil in the unseen spiritual world. (Ephesians 4:12). So even when we are resting at home on a recliner, maybe we are on a spiritual battlefield.

Or in sin entirely separated from God (Isaiah 59:2) in some dark place we cannot see like a wandering star for whom the darkest blackness has been reserved forever. (Jude 1:13)

So the spirit world is not quite like the material world.

The Garden of Eden is God's Kingdom ..spiritual plane ..sure.
But our souls are in this fallen reality ..for now.
It's a test to see where our souls end up for eternity.

Is Satan able to be anywhere that has something fallen? Does that mean he is connected to decoherence somehow?
