That's not what we mean by ' saved ' .[/QUOT

Read this very carefully. People are born into this world every day. People die in this world every day. Whether they are saved or not, they are no longer walking on this earth. Is that hard to understand without throwing your dogma into it?

People are born enemies of God... hostile and rebellious toward Him. Jesus referred to the many souls needing to be brought to repentance and faith as a harvest waiting to be realized. Not what you claimed at all... according to your erroneous dogma.

Your mixing up the components of salvation. Its not the distance from regeneration to glorification that saves . its from unbelief to belief . Your conflating terms because you believe that your not saved until glorification. The point is ,yes we are not glorified yet ,so that 'part ' of salvation is yet future . BUT a believer is SAVED from the penalty of sin . He is no longer appointed to wrath ..He is no longer unrighteous, un justified or lost. He's known of God. He's predestined to be glorified ( Not predestinated to be saved as calvinists teach ) Hes saved in every sense awaiting glorification which from God's perspective its already as good as, because of being sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. Rom 8.23 . Eph 1 .12 -13
rom 8 29-30

I haven't even been talking about salvation. I've been talking about death. Is there anyone else on this board who can see how insane this conversation has become? I made the choice to ignore two members after these recent conversations

A believer has passed from death to life .
John 5:24

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Some people are saying that to repent of their sins is a work not necessary for forgiveness. They even relate it to asking God to forgive us because of all our works, that we work so well we can be forgiven. That idea is denying Christ, and not part of Christianity.

When we pray, we also ask God for our needs, and if our prayers ask for sin in our life instead of asking that we be free of sin as repentance is, then we are given the sin in our life. Asking for God's forgiveness is asking to be free of sin or in scripture language, we repent. We either ask for sin or we ask that we be sin free, we get what we ask for. Either we are given righteousness through Christ we ask for with repentance, or we get the eternal death that we ask for when we ask to keep the sin, that is the opposite to repentance. There is nothing in the middle, it is one or the other.

The 12 apostles were sent with signs accompanied to reach Israel . They were preaching the gospel of the kingdom which is not the same Gospel we preach today . But the one that will be preached again during the tribulation.
Were they still Jews though? They would now be Christians as they believed Jesus..right?

A Jew under the OT is different than a Jew under the NT. Although all are Hebrews.
?

To the Lord, there are those who accept God and those who don't. The ethnic Jews are those who God gave the responsibility of caretakers of the word when the nations did not accept Him. The Israelites to the Lord, are those who accept God, some are grafted in, some are ethnic.
So some are still Jews and some are Christians?

Which verse mentions the church after rev 4 ?
Revelations isn’t in chronological order. When revelations mentions the church the churches are told to overcome to get the prize..which is eternal life. I‘m paraphrasing of course...but that’s what I get out of it. Jesus tells the church what they must do to get through the tribulation...and the rest talks about the tribulation.

There are the martyrs under the alter in revelations 6..which are the church. And those martry’s are mentioned later as ruling with Christ.

He told the diciples .
Which is telling us...

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Eternal life is a free gift ,not a prize.

Eternal life is a free gift ,not a prize.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:13-14, 16‬ ‭
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.

Some people are saying that to repent of their sins is a work not necessary for forgiveness.
Do you have an example of this?

I likewise asked for an example of any Christian telling other Christians they should want to sin...

Another one of your seemingly ridiculous misrepresentations for which you gave no proof.

Context is key. Notice it doesn't say 'eternal life '. Saying Eternal life is a prize literally violates too many scriptures to mention . Eph 2.,9 being one
