Craziness, ts all a show I guess ?

Yep it literally is a production. The behind the scenes of the media team is literally a production. Everything is timed to a T and if you're a bit delayed in something people are asking in a headset why isn't this happening? Why isn't this happening?
All under the guise of doing an "A class" service for Jesus.
I won't go into the details of the name of this popular ministry.

It's not. He has said he has read the KJV. Why try to make something out of this that it isn't?
The friction always or nearly always begins with the KJVO proponents going on the offensive.

Someone only has to say "The KJV isn't my favourite" or "I read the NASB" and it kicks off.

Can't we just appreciate that we have a wealth of Bibles at our fingertips? It's a GOOD thing. A blessing.

Firstly, I didn't join this forum to pick a fight with anyone. I have read Dino's comments. To me, some of what he has said is hypocritical, which I have questioned it. So what, it's ok for someone to read one translation, but not ok for someone else to read a different translation ?

I have. When the Pastor got up to speak he literally started coughing because there was so much smoke and asked to turn off the machine
I really have no idea why they use them in some congregations.

Im sure everyone has a translation that they like the best, I think in english we are now so spoiled for choice its become like fancy potato chip flavours.

you still missed his point, he was not saying it hinting at anything you though he was in that statement,

its about the few people here who THINK the KJV is the perfect word of God and anyone who reads anything else is reading a book that is not from God.

Look up and watch online any modern church. The lights will be out and lights focused on the stage and yes, sometimes fog machines during singing like a worldly concert to set the mood of worship.

Again, there are examples in the bible where what was spoken in one language was translated into another language and that translation became the original inspired Scripture. Translating is no problem with our God. He can give us the exact English words we need and I believe he has.

The fact that there are passages in Scripture that are translated, and that the translations are themselves the word of God, does not in any way support the fantasy that God inspired the KJV translators.

I don't know why John146 keeps bringing up this canard; I have addressed it at least three times already. Perhaps he believes that if he repeats the error often enough, he will convince someone of its validity.

Hello... I'm right here!

I have stated at least twice in this thread that I have no issue with people who prefer to read the KJV.

However, I do have an issue with people who prefer the KJV and imply or claim that other translations are objectively inferior, and who make a point to attack other translations or the people who prefer them.

So, I suggest that you take the chip off your shoulder. Unless you can support your accusation of hypocrisy with clear evidence, you owe me an apology.

If you are speaking about Dino's comments in general that would be another subject. And I will leave him to speak for himself.
But you have focussed yet again on his comments regarding translations.

its ok. Dont worry about it. Christians shouldnt be fighting over this really.

If you dont speak hebrew or greek, then you just need to find an translation that makes sense in the language you speak. KJVwasnt even the first english translation, but its a well loved one.

What it proves is that it is possible with God to have his word translated into whatever language he sees fit and that translation would be the perfect pure word of God. Would you at least admit that’s possible?
