They don't exist, that's my point. The originals don't exist so copies of originals can't be authenticated against them. We are only left with forensic evidence for accuracy.Where are they that they can be consulted?
The validity of manuscript evidence is not tested in a court of law and therefore the charge of "hearsay" is completely without relevance.A translators educated guess is called hearsay and that is not circumstantial evidence.

We are left with a mountain of physical evidence in the form of manuscripts. Yes, they are copies, but the copies can be compared to determine which is the most likely original wording. You can’t even figure out which verses belong in the Bible and which don’t. A mountain of opinions isn’t a science. We are left with a mountain of physical evidence in the form of manuscripts. I know Christ and see the character and personality of Christ all over the pages of the KJV.That is my point also
Based on this alone, you should see you cannot claim the KJV is the only pure English translation.
Simply because you cannot know what the originals actually said.
As do others using different translationsI know Christ and see the character and personality of Christ all over the pages of the KJV.
I think you’re under the impression that hearsay only exists in a court of law. It doesn’t, it exists everywhere.Providing the definition of hearsay does not do anything to establish its relevance to this topic.
Since when was the KJV the standard measure against which to test other translations?well, all translations that aren't the KJV are copyright and have changed in the text, unlike the KJV. In revelation it says not to change the word of God. I have read the niv, nlt, cev and others, and, have checked them against the KJV; it's your choice which translation you read, but I recommend the KJV.
I think you're under the impression that it's relevant here. It isn't.I think you’re under the impression that hearsay only exists in a court of law. It doesn’t, it exists everywhere.
In the other thread I brought up the different resurrections between the two translations. Which one is the right one?As do others using different translations![]()
It's not the standard for measurement, it meets the standard for being God's word.Since when was the KJV the standard measure against which to test other translations?
As do others using different translations
The KJV does not have a monopoly on this![]()

It is kind of like saying " Only reading the KJV bible brings the good news of Salvation , you won`t find the good news in any other bible "

I saw that, but do not know to which verses in particular you are referring. In the other thread I brought up the different resurrections between the two translations. Which one is the right one?
Christ isn’t double minded, one of those is of Christ and the other isn’t.
I posted the verses in that post, both the KJV and the NASB, they preach two different resurrections.I saw that, but do not know to which verses in particular you are referring.
