I have such a hard time watching any news since it's all lies. And more and more I feel like the world has grown wicked. The church is so messed up and the 501c churches are now a part of the world.

Does anyone feel like they don't belong here?

I don't have a t.v. service, just internet. Definitely pray about all your concerns and don't watch network news.

agree with kinda's advice -

for hub and myself, we feel very blessed/honored to be alive in these 'end-times',
for we know we wouldn't be here if Yeshua didn't have jobs for us to do,
as all True-Christians are His warriors, armed and ready for battle...

The theme of this thread suggests a loss of purpose among those who are being saved.

I submit that this purpose is to be a witness of the events unfolding around us. The Bible constantly affirms God's wish that there be human witnesses of His work in the world. Indeed, we are all called to be witnesses of His work in our own lives.

How much more, then, are we all called to be witnesses of God's work in the wider world?

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy." - Revelation 22:11

The meaning of John's revelation, as I take it, is that our purpose on earth these days is to BE right and dedicated to God even as those who are not continue to widen the gap between themselves and their own salvation.

Let it be according to God's will. WE are watching.

Always have, probably always will. Since I was a child. It feels like your whole life is pushed upon you, right? You just became aware one day that you are wearing some name and answering to it, living in some body, and one thing after another followed without your control, school, job, etc etc. But also somehow wanting to make things work, attachment to happiness. All labor for man to get vexed under the sun, like Solomon said.

I find it puzzling why more Christians don't realize that we're the victims of propaganda.
That should be very puzzling and disturbing. Christians -- of all people -- should be the first to recognize deception. But unfortunately many have been deceived and believe the garbage that is spewed by the media daily.

Every Christian should understand that the COVID pandemic was part of a criminal conspiracy to destroy nations and freedoms, as well as blatantly attack churches and Christians. It has worked very well for the evildoers.

While this world is not our home, we are in the world but not of it. Hence we are told to reprove the works and workers of darkness. We are told to be salt and light, which also means exposing the rot and evil that surrounds us.

I have been having very good experiences with the churches I have been a part of for 40 years. I can tell the difference between a Spirit Filled church of sincere believers who are living the way Christ has called us to live and a dead formal group of lost people going to church to get their church ticket punched so of course I have never attended those kinds of churches and all my experiences have been wonderful.
It is not that hard.
I can sense that as well. A dead formal group is actually a good way to put it.

Even before I was a Christian I never felt like I belonged here I always felt like there must some other world where I actually belong I could go chameleon and blend in with people but never really felt like I was supposed to be in this world.

Becoming and a Christian and especially in these later days as we have been nearing closer and closer to the end of year I feel less and less a part of this world and honestly I just want to go home now I am so tired and weary of this world and it is really making me worn inside too

I have had so many dreams and visions this year of the wedding of the lamb of the rapture of that beautiful garden I have always wanted to walk with Jesus in and play and laugh together but everything just keeps going and things are going downhill faster and faster on one hand this would indicate he is indeed coming for his bride very soon but at the same time I just don't see it happening and it saddens me.

I just want so badly to finally hold him in my arms and just never let go but alas I am just not sure if I can actually hope for it any time soon.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. - Romans 8:23

Exactly. It's been like this for years, but the lies are so obvious now, I wonder how anyone, least of all Christians, can be oblivious to the truth.

The author of the video (Probably Alexandra) has a good handle on the situation, in my view. I've believed that elections were a scam for a long time, but couldn't understand why Trump was doing so many (apparently) good things, or at least things which seemed bad for the pedophiles and devil worshippers in government, the media etc. (primarily, but not solely, Democrats). Apparently, in Occult circles (including Freemasonry which runs the world), there is a Light side and a Dark side (both of which serve the devil). However, the Light side serve the devil as Lucifer (he appearing to them as an angel of light), whilst the Dark side serve him as Satan (the devil he really is). To me, this revelation showed me how Trump could be selected by the enemy, but apparently be doing good things. This also reminds me of the passage in Revelation "having two horns like a lamb, but speaking like a dragon".

I still think Trump will win this election. I think the danger (and I hope I'm wrong, because he and his team have been doing a lot of good things), is that people will start to elevate him (or his team, or the military, or even America) to a level above which any man should be elevated.

Ultimately, God is in control, so do not fret. Even if Trump is going to turn out to be a bad guy, I'm hoping God will use him to bring all these other liars and bad guys to justice. :)
They're using sophisticated brainwashing techniques, and most people don't realize that we don't have an independent press anymore. If you try to tell them they insist the opposite. It's very hard to get through to some. It seems similar to how Satan puts the veil over the mind of unbelievers. He still seems able to keep some bound in darkness - for a time anyway.

I believe that Trump is owned by the elite - don't be fooled by him. I read that he was put in place to keep Christians placated while he continued moving America into the North America Union. He only threw us a few bones, but largely kept up the dictates of his masters. Think about all the bombs that he dropped on people. That's not godly. That's wicked.

Trump was also accused of raping several young girls when he and a friend owned a modeling agency. If you study hand signs it looks like he constantly throws the same triple 6 that many actors and actresses wholly given over to evil throw.

But you're right - to keep in mind that God is in control.:)

According to the Bible, no one who has been born again truly belongs here.

I assume you intend the question to imply whether or not one feels the culture in which we were raised has endured. It hasn't and that's why we feel displaced. The feeling of not being a part of the culture is a result of decades of culture war, which middle class white folks have lost. It's also a result of church leadership abandoning their devotion to Jesus Christ in favor of the Almighty Dollar.

I sat in a church service once in which the preacher openly admitted he preached, "happy talk to fill seats." Let's face it folks, the God business is a good way to make a pile of money if you know how to do it and have few scruples. Evangelist Jim Baker, who did time in a penitentiary for real estate fraud, later admitted the first time he read the Bible from cover to cover was when he was behind bars. Our religious leaders have betrayed us.

To be sure there are islands of congregations where devotion to God is held strictly. I've been to a few, but for the most part entire denominations have turned their back upon God and God's Word. The result is a corrupted form of religion that none but the hopeless and deluded attend.

Several years ago, I discovered an alternative to church. I praise the God of the Bible for guiding me into it.

Baruch ha-shem Y'shuah. (Hebrew for 'Praise the Name of Jesus')

I like hearing you holler from the choir loft:)

I've seen much the same things as you. Once in awhile I'll flip on TV preachers and one guy was shockingly apostate. He was asking for $1,000 donations telling people God would bless them. I was sickened. He was definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing. I was badly misled by apostate preachers early on.

We've also been to a number of churches where the leadership was so filled with pride they refused to listen to a 'regular' believer who lacked office. The pastor was so shockingly prideful that he said that God put him in that position and we had to listen to him and the other pastors. I was shocked at the overt pride. Did he not know that's how Lucifer fell? So I have a distaste for a number of churches now.

Another church was run by a family who were overtly corrupt. God slammed them however. I feel sad that they still have a "church" because they do more to drive people away from God than draw them. I've asked God to shut them down. I have a suspicion they're using "donations" as their private expense account. They're really corrupt.

I thought friends of mine were such great Christians, but then the blinders came off and I could really see that they weren't who I thought they were. Their son backed into an older black woman's car, damaging it. The husband of the woman asked my friends to pay for it, and because he wouldn't give them insurance information they refused to pay for it. She sat there smugly and said "they obviously didn't have insurance."

That still didn't relieve my friends of the duty to pay for the damaged car. So I really saw some things about them in retrospect.

When you're down and out is when you really find out who your friends are and it's a rude, rude awakening. People - even Christians - want to rub shoulders with "successful" people, or people who hold office in the church. After I was injured I saw that our pastor didn't have time for me; and we had been friends. I had so much going on that I realized that we had stopped supporting the church; so I figured that was it. I can understand it to a point. He has to spend his time wisely and it should be with supporters, but it just showed me that it was all kind of fake. Then a friend never visited, and was out doing things with their friends from church, teaching bible study, etc. but never had the time to come visit me - all of 15 minutes away. Then I would email her and she'd email back "I guess I'll answer later...if I get the time." Then I wouldn't hear from her. I clearly saw that she was a respecter of persons - something clearly warned against in Scripture.

I saw that she liked cutting others up while not looking at her and her husband's reflection.

So I stopped emailing her and then she kept contacting me - so I waited and answered her in my good time as she had done to me. Apparently it was okay for her to do to me but not me to do it to her. So she completely cut me off. It was really something to see. Mr. & Mrs. Perfect Christian. It opened my eyes up. It showed me that you don't really know what's in someone until there is a "test" - and then you see what fair- weather friends they are. People act like they're so good and godly and yet treat someone who has had a bad break with disdain. We'll see what happens when her time of testing comes.

You are fortunate that you found a good church.

Actually I've abandoned the church altogether. I found and am now among the congregation of a Messianic Jewish Synagogue.

Messianic Jews are those of Jewish tradition who have accepted Jesus Christ as THE messiah, the anointed prophet priest and king promised by God to the descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. I've found the heavy influence of Torah, the LAW, to be immensely helpful to me in providing the underlying knowledge to properly interpret the writings of New Testament apostles, all of whom were Jews. Without becoming legalistic, I've discovered a new perspective of grace - which the church has corrupted to ridiculous demonic levels.

A word of caution must be inserted here: The messianic movement is growing in America. Consequently Jewish traditions are not altogether adopted by some congregations. As always, some of them have been corrupted by influences carried over from Christian churches. There are, for example, versions of messianic congregations that are heavily Roman Catholic in doctrine.

In other words, the religious jungle in America has a lot of buried land mines.

Walk carefully, but keep on keeping on.

I am a cord cutter. Saved nearly fifteen hundred dollars from NOT subscribing to cable in the first year alone. I set up a roof antenna and get over 50 channels for free. My internet subscription provides the rest.

I do NOT rely upon American news sources as they are all influenced by their corporate owners and the intelligence community of the government.

"The CIA has every imaginable media outlet covered." - William Casey former director of the CIA

I get a lot of good information from Reuters (German), BBC (British), France24, Times of Israel and Aljazeera. When TASS (Russian news agency) starts sounding more logical than NBC I get a real creepy feeling.

Personally, I think we've entered something of a new dark ages. Everybody lies about everything and the only break in the constant bombardment is advertising, which is the ultimate magic. Advertising makes us buy things we don't need with money we don't have.

And then there is the local church paster, who generally has one hand on his Bible and the other in someone else's pocket.

Ever feel like a mouse in a trap?

This. Is it sad that so many things that would normally be conspiracy theory or tin foil hat, are actually proving more and more each day to be true?

I think what frustrates me most is when the evidence is blatantly in front of people, and you attempt to show them and explain it, and they simply jump back into their "it's a conspiracy theory" boat and dismiss even logical explaination. It's as though they've been conditioned to believe that if any event has ties to another event, that the theory must be false.

I often try to remind people that "truth is stranger than fiction." What this means is, all that matters is if something is true or not. With fiction, the goal is to make everything believable so the mind won't reject it. Lies work exactly the same way. Those good at lying tend to also be good story tellers. And yet the truth simply is, whether or not you believe it or accept it or understand it.

My own mother has succumbed to the whole "Trump derangement syndrome" and is so blinded by her hate of him and his personality, and her devotion to the democratic party (because she's from Oregon). And yet she rattles on to me about how her priority is to help save the Earth and protect her grandchildren.
From what and by what? From a prosperous nation that is healthy and has freedom, and by voting Democrat because "Orange Man Bad"?

I had a conversation with my dad the other day when he came by to visit me. It surprised me how we were able to talk all day about what is going on, and most of the things I've dug up and learned he already knew, along with a few pieces I hadn't found out yet. We literally spent the entire day on a road trip and talking about everything, including Christ.

With the way this world is heading right now, I think it's hard NOT to feel like we don't belong here, and hard not to believe that His return is coming soon. Very soon. I'm also seeing a lot of calculations giving the year-window of the Rapture or Second Coming, based on actual historical dates and Bible verses. Of course this is not the same as knowing the day and the hour, because having a window of years is more of a season. But the season is also the climate we are in now, or so it feels like. I'm more concerned now with Eternity and the Rapture than I was even a year ago. At this point it feels imminent.

When sharing the Gospel with people it can be frustrating that they don't repent and get saved. But we keep at it and believe that the seed will fall on good ground eventually.

If we are feeling frustration trying to spread a conspiracy theory and not getting good reception that is just wasted energy. It is not our mission and we are just building wood, hay and stubble.

If we are feeling frustration trying to convince a believer in a conpsiracy theory that they are making a mistake in their logic, we are wasting our energy and efforts as they are usually too invested in their theory to accept any facts that would change their minds.

Stick to the mission. And avoid all contention, variance, and strife as the New Testament tells us in several places to put it far from us. Take the high road, Let it go. The servant of the Lord must not strive.

You know that's interesting because I came across a blog by a man who said that the Torah is important because of Christ's Words: "Think not that I came to abolish the law but to fulfill it." So I appreciate you sharing that. I always try to tuck away little bits of wisdom I pick up from others. I'm in a shifting time in my walk with God. I had such an overwhelming sense of Him yesterday and then I recalled the verse: "...and you hath he quickened..." it's like a 'quickening' in the spirit. Something within reaches out to God. I immediately had a longing to read the Bible and had an overwhelming sense of being in the presence of holiness. I only get these foretastes but it's really beautiful.

Religious jungle is a good way of putting it. I don't know why God allowed my husband and I to wander in the wilderness - we hit a number of those land mines. But God must have a reason for it. Through many mistakes I now know a good teacher when I hear it and am sickened by the false. I still have more to learn.

Thanks for hollering from the choir loft:)

I want to get rid of cable - I hate giving them money but my husband loves sports. I'm still working on him. I don't watch much TV - only documentaries and sometimes flip on the oldies and westerns.

I learned the same thing as you about the media and the CIA. The CIA also was behind the drugs flooding into almost every city and town in America. My heart breaks for the suffering it caused. We just went to a funeral and the sounds of the boys mother's wails stayed ringing in my ears. How anyone could be that evil to push drugs into communities, knowing of the coming sorrow is just satanic. But it's interesting that I know of two Christians who did something really evil - so Satan can tempt anybody. "The heart is desperately wicked...who can know it?"

I'll keep those sources in mind. I read only Sons of Liberty, Activist Post, and Have ye not Heard. I know of a security expert who warned that Russia and/or China will attack us with nuclear weapons within the latter part of this decade. He said our own government has hidden things from us. He said that Russia never fell - they're as strong as ever and have been building a lot of bunkers while America has been weakened. Ask yourself why all the mega-rich have been building bunkers too. I'm afraid - we have been betrayed by our own government at the highest levels. Look at the quality of the people - or lack of - and that's who is running this country. It's such an affront to us all that someone like AOC is holding office. Her eyes are wild - she's way out there - many of them are. I pray and ask God to bring them down. Someday He will. One pastor said we should be praying the imprecatory psalms. Most people who really know what's going on are sickened.

We are in a time of being bombarded by lies. I was trying to get through to a friend and she's so brainwashed by the media. I get frustrated speaking with her because she repeats all the lies she hears on the news. I told her to consider if she was going to trust people she doesn't know vs a friend who cares. It's a spiritual war behind it all. I can't stand hearing the news for even a few minutes, nor can I stand listening to any of the lying politicians. It really takes effort to separate yourself but God told us to. "Come out of her..."

And yes I know all about the hireling pastors. We left a few churches because of it. Many are 501c churches now: a marriage of the church and the state.

We're just in an unparalleled time in history and trying to navigate it. I think that we really really need to pray carefully and listen for the still small voice.

Keep hollering from the choir loft:)

Think of the Christians that you know - maybe you can reach a few of them. I think it comes down to a one by one trying to turn another away from the drumbeats of lies coming from the media. It's hard because they doubt you but it is rewarding when you do finally reach someone. I prayed for one who was deceived and it took awhile and there was a lot of prayer but it was relieving and rewarding to see God answer that heartfelt prayer. It's an investment of time and effort.

Anyone who really determines to find the truth and then to share it with others will go through the accusations of "tin-foil-hat" etc. "Indeed all who would live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution..." Especially if you're the first among your circle to see something or exercise discernment.

I'm not pro Biden but I don't believe that Trump is who he pretends to be. If you really check him out in depth you'll find his associations with all the same people crashing America. He was put in place to placate the Christians while continually moving America into the North American Union. He continued all the things his predecessors did: engaged in foreign wars, spent like a drunken sailor, and filled his cabinet with all CFR. Jared is CFR.

I think that this world is becoming uninhabitable for Christians - those truly trying to live by truth. We have to really insulate ourselves in whatever ways we can.

I'm unsure of the Rapture theory but I'm suspicious of it. I'm studying Revelations and seeing what God shows me.

He was a wise man.
