Let me get this straight. Are you saying that the natural man, as described in 1 Cor 2:14, received the spiritual things that Jesus taught?
When was Peter born again ? Jesus taught Peter the ' spiritual things of his death burial and resurrection after teaching him and the deciples for years . They did not understand the Gospel let alone most of what he said .
Luke 18
31¶Then he took
unto him the twelve , and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33And they shall scourge
him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
34¶A
nd they understood none of these things: and this saying was
hid from them, neither
knew they the things which were
spoken .
1 cor 2 v 6
6¶Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect( full grown ) : yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
13¶Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know
them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1¶And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal,
even as unto babes in Christ.
2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able
to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
