Well we have 2 possibilities
1 god convicts us of his truth by acting as our spirit in which case we who are dead because if sin can be made alive due to justification of sin by faith
2. God makes a person who is dead in sin alive in sin so they can have faith to be justified if the very sin that made them dead

So read Romans 1. That proves a spiritually dead person can at the least know spiritual things. Hence why they have no excuse
You, evedentally, do not understand how sinful, by nature, that the regenerated man can be. Romans 1, It is the regenerated men, who God has manifested in them that which may be known of God. The regenerated men are holding the truth of those things that God made known to them, about himself, in unrighteousness. It is the regenerated men who are without excuse.
The natural man, as described in 1 Cor 2:14, cannot discern spiritual truths from a spiritual God., in order to hold spiritual truths in unrighteousness.
The natural man only has faith in mankind, and what mankind can accomplish. Spiritual faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, and can come only after the natural man has been regenerated and given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Do you think God is incapable of helping a natural man understand
I have read Romans 1 countless times. If I have understood you right, you believe that the natural man can hold spiritual truths in unrighteousness. I am sure that you know that i believe 1 Cor 2:14 refutes your belief. The natural man cannot discern the things of the Spirit, and thinks them to be foolishness. Our spiritual God has not shown the natural man that which may be known of God, because the natural does not believe in a spiritual God.
The only way that God helps the natural man to understand spiritual things, is to regenerate him and give him the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. and he is very capable of doing that, without nan's help.
This brings into a circle that no one will be saved because the natural man cannot discerned the things of the Spirit while your logic says it will be going to be the Holy Spirt that quickens the 'corpse man'. but this is to persist natural man in an unsaved estate have no hope according to you.
Your problem is that you falsely explain away God's elect scriptures. If God had not chosen an elect people out of all mankind that would not seek him, we all would have gone to eternal hell. This is why all of the scriptures must harmonize. We cannot ignore some of them to fit a false doctrine.
Mankind, because of God giving them the freedom to choose how they wanted to live their lives, They choose not to seek God. This is why, by God's grace, he did not give them the freedom to choose their entrance into heaven, Eph 2:1.

So then it would seem to me that Ephesians 2:5 is talking about the New Birth. Begotten again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is another way of saying raised to life in Christ.

Brought to life after receiving Jesus and being sealed by the Holy Spirit .Through Faith .
