Jesus adamantly warns against being a stumbling block to others, but they don’t care.
Every individual will give an accounting to God and Christ. That is why it is critical for Christians to NEVER misinterpret the Bible knowingly (as do the Calvinists). The eternal destiny of souls is at stake. And that is why it is imperative that only the true Gospel of God be preached.

Pretty simple to understand.

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Depends on which way the winds blows and or if she likes you or not!

The Bible says over and over to believe...believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Shall I post all of them? How many scriptures will it take for you to believe the truth of God’s word?
Interesting .... you can post all of them it will not matter because they wear certain fixed designer spectacles that distort the message.... "Calvinism"

It’d be interesting if God forced them to wear those designer spectacles in order to distort their understanding of His Word.

Calvinism needs to be 'right or true' otherwise it's gonna 'rock your world'. So they care to be right, otherwise, gonna strip the gears o_O

Free will’r: Jesus died for everyone!
Grace’r: So you believe in an unlimited atonement?
Free will’r: What's atonement mean?
Yes its like. Did you check the will of God. The food the disciples know not of.

Yes, but I have never read any other person give this interpretation of the narrow and broad path, so would seem to me that the Holy Spirit would reveal this to others and I would have come across it somewhere?
You haven't heard it explained this way, beecause few there be that find it. Also, man does not help God in eternally saving anybody, and therefore, we do not go about trying to preach the doctrine in order to help save soles eternally. There is a deliverance (salvation) here in this world when a child of God becomes knowledgeable that they were delivered eternally by God's sovereign grace without any participation from themselves.

you cannot just read verses 1 - 2. you must read and abide by verses 3 - 6 also. ☺

1 John 2:3
3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

this is how We Will Know!

I'm not confused but what kind of a response is that to what I said?

I do not reference any mans writings, but believe the scriptures do prove themselves without contradictions. I am a firm believer that a man cannot understand the scriptures when they rely upon their intellect. When they deny themselves before God and give up on their own understanding then I believe that the Holy Ghost within them will reveal truths to them.

bolded by me, i dont know about the first part and i don't know i completely i agree with this, but just saw this and liked it. hope that helps. :)

What other scripture supports this concept that the narrow and broad path both have the elect?
Ezekiel chapter 10, a wheel in the midst of a wheel. The outer wheel (the elect in the wide gate), the inner wheel (the elect who have been revealed the doctrine of Christ).

Romans 11, The remnant equals the strait gate. And there are more.

This is the accompanying account of the narrow path in Matthew:
Luke 13:
23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?”
And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

So what is this narrow path and gate?

I think John tells us EXACTLY.

John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

I tried to see the wide path, that leads to DESTRUCTION, the way FGC sees it, that those that enter it will be saved, but it simply isn't there. And the attempt to use that Abraham will have SAVED descendants as numerous as the sand on the sea, as justification that the wide path people will be saved, frankly seems like a HUGE stretch.

Why can't there be numerous saved, yet a VASTLY MORE numerous amount that are not?

So if Jesus is the Narrow Path and Narrow Gate, what is the wide path that leads to destruction?

I believe it is EVERY attempt to enter that is NOT Jesus. Partial list:
Baha'i,Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto,Sikhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Mormonism. And the MOST deceived of all, WORKS BASED CHRISTIANITY.

Every one of these religions have ONE thing in common. MAN ATTEMPTING TO EITHER WORK HIS WAY TO HEAVEN OR BECOME LIKE GOD.
Just a suggestion, you might compare the natural man, before he has been regenerated, 1 Cor 2:14, to "the works based christian". The unregenerate man cannot discern the things of the Spirit, and thinks them to be foolish. The "works based christian" believes in the things of the Spirit, he just is interpreting the scriptures wrong. He is still "a babe in Christ" that has not been taught about the righteousness of God's grace. I believe that in Romans 10, Paul is praying to God for these children of his, that they might become knowledgeable of the righteousness of God.

You are not correct in your assessment....

HELL enlarges itself WITHOUT MEASURE and the words MANY and FEW are clear when it comes to who busts hell wide open and or those who are saved......!!
And the scriptures that harmonize with your statement are?

No I don't thinks so, the broad path leads to destruction, Jesus does not use the word "elect."

They really believe alright.....in a dogma formulated by an ex Catholic in the 1500s....one that does not align with the bible and one that must skew, twist, re-arrange, and or misapply dozens of scriptural truths to fit what they are selling!

I think scripture does give an understanding for this one. not pleasant either. I pray never to have those fitted to my face

I wasn't looking for a 'better' answer but something that corresponded to what I said. Anyway, I guess that is how you see it
