Ugh... as if the pot needs stirring... what's the pint? Calvinists normally don't consider anything contrary said to them anyways.
Read Dave Hunt's book 'What Love Is This?' ...
if you truly want real answers that is.
Otherwise, the Bible tells us not to strive to debate, but to endeavour to live peaceably with all men so far as it is possible.
Interesting statement. I love the way Dave Hunt was dismantled in debate by Dr. James White. You ought to read his book The Potter's Freedom.

The Reformed (personally me) were called preachers from hell.

You didn't give that a disagree, yet you're plea for living in peace with all men, or is it just with some men, like not the ones you don't mind seeing called these things?

Then I show the truth of the Gospel that I preach, and you come in to make sure it gets a disagree? Hmmmm.

And then you take a jab at Calvinists too. LOL!!!!!!!

Yes, yes, you're endeavoring to live at peace with all men, or rather some men. All I did was present a case of rebuttal against a person telling us we're going to hell, and showed how he misrepresented us.

Anyhow, carry on!

First, we believe salvation is only by grace, through faith, and by Christ alone, excluding any works, and that the Gospel is the life, death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
The problem is Reformed/Calvinism it goes one BIG step to far... thinking they are preserving this "Soli Deo Gloria" when in fact He is

robbed of His glory.

The scripture about Him having mercy upon whom He will mercy becomes a blanket verse under which all other verses must be

understood....But scripture is clear His desire is that none should perish ... what "Glory" is there for a God that withholds His mercy

only because He can?

None.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge in this regard before you were here sir; your judgements of me are inaccurate.

That's kind of funny you state how a lot of water has gone under the bridge before I got here. I was involved in this thread in the past, then a few days ago, then I believe today as well.

You? No. All the water has gone under the bridge all along until today for you. Right?

You've just now posted in this thread, jumping in to like a person condemning me to hell and are telling me this like you've been here and I'm a newcomer? Your comments are absurd and baseless right there.

I'm just noting you liked a post condemning me to hell, then disagreed with my post which rationally answered said post and expressed belief in the fact we are saved via Christ alone, grace alone, faith alone. A reasonable and biblical response was given, you jumped in to make certain to show your bias.

Then you stated we should live peaceably with all men, but by your own actions you only mean some men. That and your taking a jab at Calvinists as well shows the same actions deny your own plea. Right?

So no, you don't endeavor to live at peace with all, only some, and in this case only with those condemning others to hell for believing in the doctrines of election and other biblical teachings.

Not at all. Any deviation from the true Gospel is "another gospel". And the Bible does NOT support TULIP at all.
It's noted you only referenced a small portion of my post, yet I've answered every remark of yours.

What is noted in the greatest way is how you dismissed and snipped out my profession of what the Gospel is that I preach, which is a completely biblical Gospel. Instead of acknowledging my beliefs in the Gospel as I stated are biblical and accurate you do the above. That unfortunately lacks honesty and integrity.

Then there is the fact you haven't addressed the balance of my post.

Let me reiterate: you will give an account for your shameful remarks and condemnation of others to hell by misrepresentation of what they believe about the gospel of Christ.

You cannot refute TULIP unless you use a straw man of what it teaches. You've proven this on numerous occasions.

Any honest person can see I gave a rational and reasoned response to your asinine post full of straw man arguments, against your condemnation of others to hell, and now against your refusal to acknowledge the biblical gospel I adhere to and stated, only to go ahead, once again, to condemn to others to hell, well, at least me.

Nothing I stated is another Gospel, but you cannot go by facts of what I stated so you again resort to emotionalism, condemning and avoiding what I actually said and actually believe.

Secondly, any person teaching and knowing that Biblically God passes over some, not showing them mercy, is not adding to the Gospel at all.
That is totally incorrect, and even Calvin could not find that while doing his exposition of John 3:14-17.

BUT THEN HE IMMEDIATELY UNDERMINED THE TRUTH WITHOUT ANY BIBLICAL SUPPORT.

CALVIN'S COMMENTARY ON JOHN 3:14-17: TRUTH + ERROR

TRUTH
John 3:14
: ..."The history of that transaction is well known, and is detailed inNumbers 21:9. Christ introduces it in this passage, in order to show that he must be placed before the eyes of all by the doctrine of the Gospel, that all who look at him by faith may obtain salvation. Hence it ought to be inferred that Christ is clearly exhibited to us in the Gospel, in order that no man may complain of obscurity; and that this manifestation is common to all, and that faith has its own look, by which it perceives him as present; as Paul tells us that a lively portrait of Christ with his cross is exhibited, when he is truly preached..."

John 3:16: ..."For God so loved the world. Christ opens up the first cause, and, as it were, the source of our salvation, and he does so, that no doubt may remain; for our minds cannot find calm repose, until we arrive at the unmerited love of God. As the whole matter of our salvation must not be sought anywhere else than in Christ, so we must see whence Christ came to us, and why he was offered to be our Savior. Both points are distinctly stated to us: namely, that faith in Christ brings life to all, and that Christ brought life, because the Heavenly Father loves the human race, and wishes that they should not perish... Such is also the import of the term World, which he formerly used; for though nothing will be found in the world that is worthy of the favor of God, yet he shows himself to be reconciled to the whole world, when he invites all men without exception to the faith of Christ, which is nothing else than an entrance into life..."

John 3:17: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world. It is a confirmation of the preceding statement; for it was not in vain that God sent his own Son to us. He came not to destroy; and therefore it follows, that it is the peculiar office of the Son of God, that all who believe may obtain salvation by him. There is now no reason why any man should be in a state of hesitation, or of distressing anxiety, as to the manner in which he may escape death, when we believe that it was the purpose of God that Christ should deliver us from it. The word world is again repeated, that no man may think himself wholly excluded, if he only keep the road of faith..."

ERROR
Then he undermines ALL this truth by making this statement:
"Let us remember, on the other hand, that while life is promised universally to all who believe in Christ, still faith is not common to all. For Christ is made known and held out to the view of all, but the elect alone are they whose eyes God opens, that they may seek him by faith..."

Note: In Scripture, predestination and election are for the perfection and glorification of the saints, NOT for salvation (Rom 8:29,30)

You could have added "...of the worst sort". Whenever the true Gospel of God is perverted, it is an extremely serious error. And that is plain from this passage:

GALATIANS 1: THERE IS A CURSE ON ANY OTHER GOSPEL AND ITS PREACHERS
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Calvinists pervert the Gospel and trouble other Christians by making some wonder whether on not they were elected for salvation or damnation. If any gospel teaches that men are elected for damnation, it is indeed from the pit of Hell.

As I have shown in other posts when John Calvin had to actually do an exposition of Bible verses, he had no choice but to present the truth. In spite of that he perverted the Gospel (or perhaps his followers deliberately perverted Calvin's theology).
Amen....100% agree....Calvinism, Mormonism, Catholicism.....all the "isms" are man made, not biblical and full of error.....

My bible says clearly...God would have ALL MEN BE SAVED and come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.....

Not just the Calvinites.....

And the one on this thread that has lead some of the weaker children astray will pay the ultimate price when he has his knees cracked and and he is laid face down before the God of heaven and grilled as to why he peddled a man's gospel over the correct message.

Amen.....just another "ism" My bible teaches choice from front to back...even Jesus was given milk and honey to teach him to choose the good over the evil....
Joshua said....CHOOSE you this day whom you will serve.....

The Calvinites say there is no choice by man............NOT!

Lol!!! He is writing his commentary to the elect, the saved, refers to them throughout.

Just as you fail to use proper context in Scripture you do the same here. The portion you claim as error does not contradict his commentary in its context.

Why is it you fail time and again to pinpoint audience and context only to arrive at error over and again???

When he claims God doesn't want the human race to perish he means its entirety. You're missing his meaning.
