@Sackcloth-N-Ashes, thanks for being a supporting brother, thanks for having my back in the midst of @eternally-gratefull slandering, threatening, and accusing me of lying along with some others encouraging him on.

I did not lie at all about what he teaches. That's one thing I do not engage on in here.

I extended an offer to reconcile on repentance and owning up, but it doesn't look like that is going to be received.

I'm saddened but not surprised to see insults still being handed out by the same to another person. The evidence is clear where this "war" stems from, and it isn't us.
Oh brother!!

Your view is very skewed as you continually play the victim.

I even apologized and you did not respond.

I have been watching a great deal of the back n forth here. But the question that keeps coming to mind is a simple one. Whether you are OSAS or NOT, who "Repents" when they knowingly sin?

And if you "Repent" when you knowingly sin, why do you "Repent?"

Earlier this morning, I repented because some of you felt misled by what I had said concerning Paul and Solomon. Honestly though, I never did take those Scriptures out of context, but how I presented them, knowing the frame of mind within this Thread, they were sure to be taken out of context. But the fact that some felt misled, told me I caused my Bothers and Sisters to error. And I was the cause of that error. So I repented!

I repent of Sins and non Sins that cause others to trip.

I do it because I was accountable for my own ACTIONS!

I have knowingly sinned and yes I did repent. I repented because I want my fellowship with my Father to be kept as clean as possible. I want Him to know I did wrong, even knew I did wrong but repented not for my salvation, because that is a done deal, but repented for my Father to know I am weak but He is strong and for Him will keep me from All wrong.

Like Paul once said, "I do what I do not want to do, yet I want to do what I should do." Sort of a paraphrase but anyone familiar with the bible knows what I'm talking about.

That was my assumption.

But I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

My hypocrisy was not pointed out. Those who claim to follow the Lord yet ignore his word (however way that comes about) are the true hypocrites according to scripture. They measure me a hypocrite based on their OSAS falsehood.

His obvious disregard of scripture under the cover of “interpretation” was on proud display (much like those of his persuasion).

Turning “if we sin willfully...“ into “if we continue practicing sin...”

I marvel at how brashly many here change the scriptures into a lie by fair speeches and good words, great swelling words of vanity, by which they allure, through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption.

Now they should either humble themselves, or continue practicing their OSAS arts to their own detriment.
Hebrews 10:26, "For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins..."

1 John 3:9, " No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God."

Both are Scripture, but are both taken out of context. The Scriptures taken as written are not in conflict with each other.

We are ALL accountable for our actions; good, bad, ugly.

Jesus said, said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me." Some of us have been given a choice, being called to participate in the great commission of spreading the good news, though not as puppets, not being forced, but willingly, of our own volition, being regenerated/born again of the Holy Spirit of God. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them we may become partakers of the divine nature, now that we have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. We are also called to unity, though for this we are disparaged and slandered by those who attempt to rationalize and justify their manipulative lying, denials, and blame shifting, while they take anything that doesn’t fit their glorified self-image as an insult.

I agree with your first paragraph, but your second paragraph doesn't apply to Christians. Unfortunately you're taking what Paul said out of context. Paul's writing in Romans 7 describes the state of someone who has not yet accepted Christ and is still under the Law. It doesn't apply to those of us who are "born of the Spirit" and are not subject to the Old Testament law.

First off, this is not about “we” but “you”. Here’s the proof. Now try to wiggle out of this...

Here is your salvation by merit that you’ve been peddling on here for years. Now try to backpedal out of this. There’s more proof of you teaching this here.
Funny thing is it does not say what you claim. It does not say I came to
God on my own power. It does not say god chose me because i
Chose him if My own power without him first drawing me. It dies
Not claim I saved myself by my own power

That’s where you and your buddies fail. You think you read something and understand it when you do not. Then get mad when someone tells you you do not understand them

Just as I thought
you refuse to own up to any wrongdoing

That’s ok. god knows the truth. And so
Do most people in CC

Notice I responded to him with an apology... no response.

Very telling!

All on his terms...sad.
It is his modus operendi. He has
Done that since he first god here. That’s why I had him on ignore. But then he got mad. And started calling me all
Kinds of names. Even wanted to
Meet me in person

It’s all good. god knows the truth

Pretty funny!

Sad that @eternally-gratefull and others agree that God chose them because they chose him.

They don't know the difference between merit and grace. Since they teach that, they teach they merit being saved because God saved them for knowing they'd choose him.
Then you responded by saying...

One more time
WE DO NOT BELIEVE THIS
you continue to break gods commandments while judging others just proves your hypocrisy
Then you had said this...

I think we have to remember, Trying to limit God to our understanding can lead to erronious thinking

The though God predestined people based on knowledge makes sense. God said I will go and pay for sin, and these people who will come to faith and ask me to save them, I chose or elect to save.

It also helps in his soverignty. As God will choose people he KNOWS will do what he needs them to do to do what he needs. Like Pharoah. There could have been 10 men who could have had that position, God chose the one who would do what he needed, and as the word says he raised him up and put him in that position.

Free will does not negate or hamper gods soverignty. God is God. He can do what he wants, and there is more than enough people to do the things he needs done, he does not have to force anyone to do anything (though he can like he did Jonah, put roadblocks and lead people to do what he needs)
You are teaching salvation by merit. In the above quoted post of yours you said God elected those He knew would be willing to be saved. They merited His grace because He elected those He knew(election via knowledge) would be willing to be saved.

If you can’t see that’s salvation by merit, that’s on you, not me.

The constant proselytizing of Calvinism is TIRESOME.... case in point the post above this one.

If you were sincere about this...why did you make inflammatory comments about me, @EleventhHour, @HoneyDew, @blue_ladybug and others just because we didn’t agree with you?

The type of excuse given for their reprehensible behavior is that they are "just telling the truth" or "calling it as they see it," while strenuously objecting to anyone else doing the same when it reflects negatively on them.

I've got more of his quotes with his meritorious *gospel* proving he taught exactly what I said. Of which he of course denied teaching. But he does teach what I said. No lying on my part. He needs to apologize.

Isn't it humorous he cries *vendetta* while he and his tribe are the true vendetta? Attacking, insulting and ganging up on people in this thread for years. It's what they do, and according to him it's ok for him to insult and make inflammatory remarks if he claims it's not a vendetta. Um. LOL!!!!!

Just wondering so I can plan ahead?

And your salvation is .....

John Calvin "Institutes," Book III, chapter 23,

"....Not all men are created with similar destiny but eternal life is foreordained for some, and eternal damnation for others. Every man, therefore, being created for one or the other of these ends, we say, he is predestined either to life or to death."
Is that the crap they push? 😆
