Stop using the English Translation, even the writers of the KJV said this is a PARAPHRASE, not exact!

"we do not deny, nay we affirm and avow, that the very meanest translation of the Bible in English, set forth by men of our profession, (for we have seen none of theirs [i.e. the translators opponents, the Roman Catholics] of the whole Bible as yet) containeth the word of God, nay, is the word of God. As the King's speech, which he uttereth in Parliament, being translated into French, Dutch, Italian, and Latin, is still the King's speech, though it be not interpreted by every Translator with the like grace, nor peradventure so fitly for phrase, nor so expressly for sense, everywhere."12

Look at this part:

As the King's speech, which he uttereth in Parliament, being translated into French, Dutch, Italian, and Latin, is still the King's speech,

This is the translators claiming the KJV Bible is an opinion!

To forgive you of your past sins and make you worthy of the kingdom in walking worthy of it.
Oh, you misunderstand His making us worthy. We are carriers of His glory, His presence being born of Spirit and immersed in Him. We are only worthy because He is our worthiness.....before Father.

Read the literal Greek if you want to know about Grace, because believing what the English Bible claims won't get you very far.

WOW. I've given Satan credit for being highly intelligent. I assume Satan knows the Bible and understands that he has sinned. He's not an idiot.
Apparently we have a few sympathizers, apologists and advocates for the devil on here. Someone may want to que "Sympathy for the Devil."

Agreed.

Aside: I often wonder why some of the 'libertarian free willers' are OSAS. I would like them to explain why God takes away their freedom to "believe salvificly or not believe salvificly". I wonder how long they have to believe salvificly before God "locks them in", so to speak; perhaps an altar call and they are locked in ... perhaps a 24 hour trial period where they are free to change their mind. Hmmm ....
I wonder if I could be wrong (I often am) ... when I get to heaven perhaps God will tell me the 'free willers' were right ... that I, not God, gets the credit for my faith as I had a tad more righteousness than the guy who didn't believe. That would be nice I suppose.
Sad thing is their take on God giving them eternal life because he saw they'd choose him is nothing but hypothetical nonsense, it is a philosophy, it isn't the Gospel or Biblical.

Again, it isn't grace, it's merit.

But your sinless perfection deception is calling God a liar, so no, you didn't misinterpret me, you misinterpreted God, he was referring to you in 1 John 1:10. That and your sin of arrogance. God says you're deceived, and he is absolutely correct.
Perhaps you have not been following this thread lately, but I never said I have not sinned.

I have sinned, like all men have, which is why I believed the gospel for forgiveness of those sins I committed as an unbeliever in ignorance.

The writers claim they have never seen the Hebrew, the Aramaic, the Greek, etc etc...they are just writing down what King James said.

The KJV is not even a BIBLE!
It's an OPINION of King James ONLY!

And YOU are building your doctrines around an OPINION hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha talk about priceless jokes!

HOW MANY OF YOUR SINS WERE YET FUTURE, WHEN HE DIED ON THE CROSS FOR THEM.

Romans 5:1-2 (NASB)
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:17-18 (HCSB)
17 Since by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
18 So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is life-giving justification for everyone.

In my opinion, YOU ARE TEACHING DECEPTIVE LIES.

Romans 10:4 (HCSB)
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

This is irrelevant.

Unbelievers sins were future as well and their sins will not be forgiven unless they repent and believe the gospel; not because their sins were future when Christ died and rose again.

Why do people repeat such ridiculous things from deceived teachers?

Your past sins are atoned for upon belief on that special event that took place in the past.

🕇

REMEMBER YOU SAID THOSE THINGS.

Romans 3:20 (NKJV)
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV)
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 John 2:2 (NIV)
2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (HCSB)
19 That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, Be reconciled to God.”

Mark 3:28-29 (HCSB)
28 I assure you: People will be forgiven for all sins and whatever blasphemies they may blaspheme.
29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—

Luke 12:10 (ESV)
10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

THERE IS ONLY ONE SIN that is Unforgivable. And that is the ONLY SIN that sends people to HADES/HELL.
That is rejecting the Truth about JESUS CHRIST, that the HOLY SPIRIT is trying to get you to believe.

Hebrews 10:29 (NIV)
29 How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

We are only worthy because He is our worthiness.....before Father.
God made us worthy to begin the walk in sainthood, given that free opportunity by God, we are to walk worthy of this unspeakable gift.

Ephesians 4:1-3
[1] I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, [2] With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; [3] Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Well I have gone there.

Are you saying its wrong to do so?

I would stand against any teaching that states that it is ok to sin all you want and still be saved.

Paul addressed this. Yes grace covers our sin but it's not an excuse to use it sin.

And if someone like the example you have above said it's ok to do what you are doing I would be asking serious questions. I would not say it's ok at all.

I agree with the direct opposition to the verses you quoted.

If someone professed to be a believer yet it becomes evident they are using grace as a license to sin and no need to repent after being correec then I would shake the dust of my feet.
In case you aren't aware saying "I wouldn't go there" is a rhetorical figure of speech.

Needless to say we've had one go against the warnings of Scripture to telling the person it's ok. To ask them "serious questions" would result in gymnastics all around the warning texts. The texts are plain and straightforward; those that do these things are not saved. Telling them not to worry, soothing them, coddling them isn't holding to Scripture at all.

So no, it's not ok, to say it is is to be deceived. Free Grace Theology does this, it distorts the Gospel and assures salvation to those living in sin whom Paul warns as being deceived.

Those who believe they live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life 100% of the time (exactly as Jesus lived) are suffering from a terminal case of self righteousness. (1 John 1:8-10)

Any form of meriting salvation is a false gospel.

Yet you think a person could not be saved because they Commited some sin, is that not meriting salvation

and trusting in someone else is not merit, merit is when you trust self

and your satan comment, reported. I am done trying to confront you with your attacks, from now on I will just report them

good day

I am not saying we owe anything. I am saying if we look at Grace as a Gift we are good, but if we look at Grace as a license to get away with something, that is not what the GREEK claims from Paul.
Biker, when does a “child” of God ever get away from rebelling which is what sin is, right? God is our Father! He chastises. Sometimes He just lets us go on until we get ourselves caught in a web only He can get us out of.

It’s His promise of His goodness of His keeping power.
