Is ole preachee for Calvin mouthing again? I cannot see as his drivel is on ignore. But as all with eyes can see, he peddles the dogma of an ex Catholic and is incessantly divisive with his holier than thou attitude.
Pretty much stated that salvation can be lost... just as you summarized in post a while ago.

Holier than thou indeed!!!

And was there any mention of repentance in that post you responded to? Is there a limit to God' forgiveness?

And the poster @preacher4truth slandered @Lightskin in that post who was a frequent visitor to this thread.
Someone who choose to admit his shortcomings on another thread and now he uses it against the person.
Is that not the epitome of self-righteousness!!

And the poster also slandered the OP of this thread @dcontroversal ... go back and read and you will see someone slinging mud, why because some people dare to stand up to the false tenets of Calvinism.

Yes, the poster you responded to walks in the "rarefied atmosphere" of being a member of the elite who will persevere and they are excused in all the little sins they commit each day.
Smh. But true

Rather than go at me I suggest you direct me.

It was obvious that I did not know as to who/what he was referring to.

You username comes into question if you challenge the truth sir.

I make OSAS and its followers liars by the word of truth.

This is not arrogance, it this:

2 Timothy 4:2
[2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

I sure hope I misinterpreted your post. Or else get in line with my adversaries.

If you don’t believe that a born again goes to Heaven when they die....then that makes God a liar....we all know that isn’t true.

So as a born again.....that’s iff you are..why do you doubt?

It was not at all about you, but the fact of how he used someone's admission of sin in such a callous manner against them upset me.

I am sorry.. really not about you at all.

Because it’s all about him and his power not God.

A person who believes in salvation by works, yet will deny it and attack anyone who disagrees with him.

Remember I thought that as a new babe...I burnt myself thinking I had to work in my own strength,to keep my salvation.

So it sounds like he is being deceived?.....or maybe he still hasn’t worked out his own salvation?

Look up the word lead......you are as dense as lead if you think for one second you can compare yourself to Paul....as a matter of fact....look up antithesis.....because what you spew is the antithesis of what Paul taught.....!!

Ooooooo the world stops turning and comes to an end.....I got a SPELL CHECK FROM THE GRAMMAR POLICIA.....even though I was on a different phone, small keys, getting up 450 AM, half asleep, working 10 to 12 hours a day in Australia, in a different time zone and sleep schedule and refuse to use predictive text.......Katie Bar the Door, I fixed the 2 letters that I missed in my haste to post............hilarious!

Oh he thinks he is ok

He also does not think he is earning his salvation. But you just heard him say if a brother struggles with a sin. He As much as has not worked hard enough and can’t be saved

they also believe their work achieved salvation, i.e. that God saved them because he saw they would choose.

That's merited favor (conditional salvation) not grace (unmerited favor).
Agreed.

Aside: I often wonder why some of the 'libertarian free willers' are OSAS. I would like them to explain why God takes away their freedom to "believe salvificly or not believe salvificly". I wonder how long they have to believe salvificly before God "locks them in", so to speak; perhaps an altar call and they are locked in ... perhaps a 24 hour trial period where they are free to change their mind. Hmmm ....
I wonder if I could be wrong (I often am) ... when I get to heaven perhaps God will tell me the 'free willers' were right ... that I, not God, gets the credit for my faith as I had a tad more righteousness than the guy who didn't believe. That would be nice I suppose.

There is a difference between looking at what Christ did as being a GIFT, and as being OWED once you Believe.

There are going to be many who have deceived themselves over the issue of Grace.

How do I know?

Revelations gives us an example on Judgement Day of those who thought they were Believers and did things in Christ Name like preach/teach/miracles and Christ ultimately states to them, "I never knew YOU, Depart from ME!"

Which religionist is at the heart of this post.....The sinless perfectionist or the Calvin Klein peddler.....
