Agreed.

Aside: I often wonder why some of the 'libertarian free willers' are OSAS. I would like them to explain why God takes away their freedom to "believe salvificly or not believe salvificly". I wonder how long they have to believe salvificly before God "locks them in", so to speak; perhaps an altar call and they are locked in ... perhaps a 24 hour trial period where they are free to change their mind. Hmmm ....
I wonder if I could be wrong (I often am) ... when I get to heaven perhaps God will tell me the 'free willers' were right ... that I, not God, gets the credit for my faith as I had a tad more righteousness than the guy who didn't believe. That would be nice I suppose.

I wouldn't know where to start to correct all your errors.

Oh and have you figured out how Jesus both loved and hated people at the same time?

There is a difference between looking at what Christ did as being a GIFT, and as being OWED once you Believe.

There are going to be many who have deceived themselves over the issue of Grace.

How do I know?

Revelations gives us an example on Judgement Day of those who thought they were Believers and did things in Christ Name like preach/teach/miracles and Christ ultimately states to them, "I never knew YOU, Depart from ME!"

What bible contains the book of Revelations?

Oh he thinks he is ok

He also does not think he is earning his salvation. But you just heard him say if a brother struggles with a sin. He As much as has not worked hard enough and can’t be saved

Oh crikey.....I have no idea where he is coming from.

I just thank God that I know what I know......to have that peace and security.

I think he needs a lot of prayer!.......he must be in turmoil....a terrible place to be..

But then you believe salvation is not secure... so who is really deceived about Grace?

Sin no more is a hard saying.

I am not surprised at the reactions my posts have gotten.

Believe me, I pray a lot about this; asking the Lord if I am in error by proclaiming boldly the doctrine in the Bible clearly teaching a way to not sin. I do not write these things without a conviction of the Spirit confirmed by the word.

It’s not a good feeling to be an enemy of the masses, but I have learned through the Spirit to not allow my fleshly feelings to get in the way of the truth of the Bible.

John 6:59-60
[59] These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. [60] Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Is telling someone they can stop sinning a hard saying, you bet it is!

The word of God is hard hitting; especially in the Authorized Version!

Are you connected with Manifested Sons of God? Your writings remind me of their quest.

I believe in Sonship. But, the foundation must be secure to build on or it will topple in the end, and destroy the one whose desire might be pure, but cannot ever attain to. The scripture comes to me now that it’s in seeing Him, that we become like Him, for we see Him as He is.

finding...

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

There’s a lot said in these words but unless we are reading through the finished work of Jesus and His atoning blood, one can truly misunderstand.

In the new birth, the bent to sin of our human nature is put to death instantly and we are born again. Our desires change. And as babes who will stumble, we will continue changing as challenges rise.

The changes come when we look back to the Cross and realize, it’s been done, victory comes and we can exclaim with Paul out of Romans 8, thank God for Jesus Christ!

Change will always be from our eye sight. Looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Believing God about His Sons sacrifice for each of us personally, is what pleases Him. Even to the point of Him granting our requests.

True?

The hard saying here is found in John 6:53-58 and did not pertain to sinless perfection, but to eating His flesh and drinking His blood, which was misunderstood by these so called disciples who Jesus knew from the beginning did not believe. (vs. 64)

1 John 1:8 - If we say that we have no sin, (present tense) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

exactly! I know I’m way behind. Sorry.

I am not saying we owe anything. I am saying if we look at Grace as a Gift we are good, but if we look at Grace as a license to get away with something, that is not what the GREEK claims from Paul.

Oh my, I can't go away for a couple of hours then come back and see all the false teachers are abounding. I am so thankful for those brothers and sisters here who know the truth and preach it.

That is what what Grace becomes when we think we can sin and have no regrets because we are saved. But that is not what Christ said at all, that is how some interpret Paul.

Who on here thinks they can sin and have no regrets?

Do you think any of us can sin and not know it,out of ignorance?

Who on here is using grace as a license to get away with something?........
