Paul wrote toTimothy, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
God gave all of us brains for the sake of study.
Enduring to the end for me means.....we are already saved once we become born again....the reason we will endure to the end is...because we have the power of the Holy Spirit in us,keeping us enduring to the end.
I have been really stressed just lately in a certain area.....then The penny drops......take your eyes and beliefs away from yourself and place them on Jesus,put your trust and belief in him.....then my peace and security return.

Ive been His, born again, baptized in Holy Spirit since 1972. I still have to lean on Jesus for my peace. It never stops. Every day is today, the day of salvation. Not in that we have to be reborn, but we walk in our salvation daily.
I talk to the Lord throughout my day since I’m not working, and even when I did, I talked to Him. As I could.
HE IS THE HEAD, we are the members of HIS Body, the sum total of all True Believers make up HIS BODY. The Baptism that SAVES is of the Holy Spirit, HE IMMERSES (Baptized) US into HIS Spiritual BODY.

13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
14 So the body is not one part but many.
In the inmate language, who I used to teach, HE IS THE SHOTCALLER, and we are the tools that HE USES to accomplish HIS Purposes.
I really do not know how, other than spiritual wisdom from HIM, from the moment I was Born Again, I trusted HE would use me.
I was raised on a farm in NEBRASKA, and when I grew up, I thought the LAST PLACE ON EARTH, I would ever what to live was California.
Then the LORD PUT IT ON MY HEART TO MOVE THERE. The LORD worked it out, and opened ever door, and I ended up in CALIFORNIA, in the Post Office, and became a Volunteer Protestant Prison Chaplain, in two different Supermax Prisons. I trusted Him TOTALLY to give me every thing I needed to accomplish HIS WILL in that ministry. No Bible College, No Official Training, No Knowledge how to start a Prison Ministry, and HE Opened all the doors, and I trusted HIM and walked through it. YES, HE was totally FAITHFUL to give me everything I needed to accomplish HIS WILL in that ministry.

I guess that TRUST IN HIM, was one of my Spiritual Gifts, and HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN FAITHFUL.
God gave us his Spirit for the sake of study......so I disagree with you.
In my carnal mind....I would understand nothing from the Bible.....sounds like you are trying to understand the bible through your own thinking.
I would say that you have the gift of prophecy if you are writing in the Spirit. It’s the same as speaking in the Spirit.

I love to study using the Strongs concordances to look at the original meanings of words. I got a revelation on Esau which took me through many scriptures to “See”.
I was listening to a ministry on Facebook where a woman was teaching and she paused and said she just received something from the Lord. It was the same revelation that she received by Holy Spirit, that took me hours to see. Lol
Both ways are His way. Revelation will always be by Holy Spirit. Otherwise it’s rote.

Night night....I enjoy reading your posts...God speaks a lot to me through them..dc is another one and EG...I understand them also.....strong in the Spirit they are.
There are ALWAYS 7 types of CHURCHES in every age, they are listed in the first three Chapter of REVELATION. Some want to spend more time on the Music Program, some have False Teaching mixed in with the WORD (like arsenic mixed in with your spiritual food), many just daydream through CHURCH, and some teach the the WORD OF GOD CORRECTLY. It has always been like that.
There are only 2 of the those Churches, that He had NOTHING bad to say about them, but REMEMBER He walks around the lampstands of all SEVEN. The Philadelphia Type, and the Smyrna type of Persecuted Church, which the Phonies GET OUT QUICKLY when the Persecution starts. The Philadelphia Type spends more time TEACHING THE WORD without False Teaching Creeping in, than other Churches. YES, I think the Catholic Church is even among the SEVEN CHURCHES and it is the Pergamum Church, but that is just my opinion. The More of the WORD without false teaching mixed in, the BETTER. You see I grew up in an old fashioned Lutheran Church, and we only had Ten minute sermons there. You cannot absorb much of the word of GOD, when you only get 10 minutes every week, the rest of the hour was devoted to a Ritualistic Order of Service and Songs. We are NOW in an age were the Laodiceans are the dominant TYPE OF CHURCH, they make the Church a Christian Entertainment Center, instead of TEACHING THE WORD.
Now I go to an Non-Denominational Evangelical Type of Church were the Pastor teaches the word for 1 hour every service, and about forty minutes the rest of the Service. So I would say the difference between UNDERSTANDING and not is HOW MUCH GOOD SOLID TEACHING OF THE WORD YOU GET. It saddens me that most just want to be Entertained in Church nowadays, instead of Learning the WORD.
