Trollish behavior deliberately tries to provoke others .

Proverbs 12:22 The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.

Proverbs 13:5 The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves.
Definitely, no willingness to discuss unless she can hook you.

If you answer a question that she proposes and respond with the same question she attacks and slanders you.

When questioned and responded with the same question she cannot and will not answer.

One agenda and only one to accuse, like a bully in the playground.

I am right you are not, does not even agree to disagree.

I leave her up to @star

Now that would be blasphemy, to say DON'T DEPEND ON JESUS 100%, would it not?

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

after you falsely accused me previously in this same way, before you ran away and hid in another thread, instead of standing up for what you assert, perhaps you missed my reply and my pleading with you not to remain in sin?

You continue to disregard Romans 7:5.
no, friend. it is in fact the central pin of my argument. Paul used to be in the flesh; he was Saul. that's verse 5. he's not any more; he is crucified with Christ ((ch.6)) and in the spirit. the desires of his flesh are no longer his own. it is his flesh that desires sin, not him. that's verse 17. desire for evil is sin, see the sermon on the mount. "each one is tempted" and is tempted by their own wicked desire, see James 1:14. anyone who says they are without sin is a liar, see 1 John 1:8.
so now you have a mystery to be resolved. Galatians 5:16 says you do not practice sin. 1 John 1:8 says you have sin. James says you have wicked desire, and Christ says wicked desire is sin even if it doesn't manifest itself in conduct. both Paul and John speak of regenerate believers. the mystery is explained in Romans 7 perfectly. it is no longer i, but sin dwelling in me -- a new creation born of spirit, inhabiting a tent of flesh while waiting for a place being prepared for them. in a creation which groans in expectation of exactly that final redemption, see Romans 8:19-23. therefore strive against your body and make it your slave, see 1 Corinthians 9:27.

would you mind to give me a clear answer about how you think this verse informs the one 12 verses after it, please?
the one where Paul says he no longer sins? the one you're trying to tell me is talking about an unregenerate sinner? the one which is specifically about being born again, which you're telling me no one born again has business identifying with?

i can tell you what this means, and i have been telling you what this means. would it not be fair for you to explain to me how this person in verse 17, who says they no longer sin, is an unredeemed sinner?
i really think you ought, because you said that i have false doctrine about this, and you said that you have the right doctrine. you also said you do not sin in your conduct, however if anyone has it in their hand to do good and does not do it, it is sin, and correcting false doctrine is good. so you are really going to look like an idiot if you don't correct me soon, while you say you **could**. i don't want that for you; if i can help you not to be an idiot, i should, because it would be sin for me if i don't when it was in my power to.

see now you are looking like an idiot, just as i warned you and tried to prevent. :(

You claim is blatantly false. The authors were addressing believers and believers only. Do you need the salutations from them to be able to see you error? Read who Paul, Peter and John were addressing. You don’t know the Bible well or you would know that. Does make believing OSAS a whole lot easier, I admit.

these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God,
and that by believing you may have life in His name.

“Blessed are you when men speak evil of you falsely.” I know what that verse means.
*for His sake.

a person isn't blessed just because they are criticized. quite often, they deserve it.
and neither just because a person is falsely accused. it is only when it is for His sake we suffer that it is blessing.

It appears you are putting the WRONG emphasis, Not on Being SAVED, but on what you WILL DO after YOU ARE SAVED.

In John 14:15, THAT IS AGAPE LOVE MUST COME FIRST, THEN and ONLY THEN WILL you want to Keep HIS COMMANDS. That Obedience Spawns out of AGAPE LOVE, and has NEVER been part of SALVATION, BECAUSE it is a FREE GIFT. HAVING AGAPE LOVE FOR GOD is part of the Born Again experience. AND that KIND OF LOVE comes directly from GOD during the Born Again experience, so we cannot TAKE CREDIT FOR IT.

Romans 5:1-10 (NASB)
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love agapê of God
has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

SALVATION happens in an instant, in the HUMAN SPIRIT.
SANCTIFICATION, happen in the flesh, and will take a Live Time.

Sure you did not think SALVATION and SANCTIFICATION, were the same thing ? ? ? That LEADS to all kinds of errors and confusion.
Once we are SAVED, that GODLY agapê LOVE WILL BE produced or replicated in Our LIVES as LOVE for GOD and the Brethren.
IT is NOT proof that we are being SAVED, not at all. It is PROOF that we were SAVED and Genuinely Born Again when we FIRST BELIEVED.

It’s not personal posthuman.

Don’t take it there my friend.

I have a life outside this forum which includes Bible study.

I’ve said my piece. I doubt furthering our conversation will resolve anything.

God be with you. Peace!

personal? i don't know what you're talking about. read the post i quoted. that is not 'personal' but the body of Christ. if i believe lies about Romans 1-8, and you know this and know the truth, it is your obligation to walk worthy of the calling, and correct them -- just as i am obligated to also help you not to stumble. a cup of cold water, a piece of bread for the hungry.

brother if i oppose you on any point of doctrine i will tell you my case and show you from the scripture why i believe as i do. i have done this. you say i am speaking lies, but you have not afforded me such kindness, and i hate to see your good conduct smeared. please accept my invitation to tell me the truth about the scripture. why the man who no longer sins but contests against his flesh and serves God with his mind, thanking God in Christ Jesus for such a salvation is the godless heathen unregenerate sinner, not the born again? Romans 7.

Quite honestly I lost track of what specifically we were chatting about.

The scripture teaches that a born again believer cannot sin.

Any professing believer who does the evil that he does not want to do is not in the Spirit and does not have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in him (Romans 8:9).

Your view is that your understanding of Scripture is superior to that of those whom you oppose. It is plain as day
Totally wrong. I rest my case after this blatant piece of evidence. None of you can express what I believe in words. I can express yours in such an unbiased manner you’d think I believe it. You cannot do the same.

And therein lies the crux of your problem. You can’t see the forest through the trees. The simplicity of Jesus Christ is divinely beautiful, for it is having faith like a child which affords us the Kingdom of Heaven. Your complex theories on the other hand...
If one remains a babe in the faith not understanding God or man, they and their thinking remain simple, true. If they are satisfied being merely saved from hell, what can one say?

If one wants to really understand God, know His ways, then they must accept that is complex. His ways are so complex they are beyond finding out and no university can teach them they are so advanced.

So the Gospel is simple. The Creator of the Universe is not.

The conversation goes back to our discussion of whom Jesus knows, and what that specifically means (as I explained multiple times), which is from Matthew 7, as given below, despite your denials of that verifiable fact.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’"

Were we also discussing Matthew 25? So what? That is not what I was talking about, but in your haste to project your misunderstanding onto me you once again show us your character.
You clearly don’t like me and cannot practice loving those you perceive as enemies. Why not just move on?

So your belief is you are capable of seeing the truth of people's character here, but those you disagree with are incapable of likewise seeing any truth of your character? That's more evidence of your hypocritical double standard and you vaunting yourself above others. I am sure many here know what that verse means, and it applies equally to them regardless of your pretenses to the contrary.
We could give our posts to an unbiased person and I’m confident the side that throws out slurs would be easily identifiable.

DorothyMae..do you know that a true born again can never be plucked from the hand of Jesus?

If you don’t believe that....then you deny scripture...so insult God are you aware of that?
The scripture gives reason why people leave the faith and are lost. None of them are because of being plucked out. None. What OSAS refuses to admit are the verses that describe believers CHANGING THEIR MINDS. Please stop accusing me of denying that no one can pluck someone out. I have no hope you’ll admit one can change their minds because of the reasons Jesus gave.

God speaks to me through EG....a lot of the time....he is led by the spirit..he is a true born again....
Sorry to hear that. Hearing from God directly is a lot better than EG. I don’t perceive He is led by the Spirit as the fruit is not that which the Holy Spirit generates. He cannot respond to those who do t agree with him in gentle, kind words.
