Amen to that and fully surprised at who is supporting her while throwing the rest of us under the bus....Go read my engagement last night....fully engaged in a decent way, asked questions honestly, quoted scripture and got snide, snippy, mouthy comments and then called a liar when accused of yelling......!

I don’t think believing in Jesus means one naturally (without choice?) lives out what his will is. Jesus actually told us to pray His will be done which assumes it isn’t naturally done.

Now you have a tender heart but I assure you there are those who are born again true christians who don’t. They don’t walk inHis will and it’s pretty obvious. So that’s where I think you a bit naive. When you’ve seen enough of what stubborn hearts born again believers have at times, you’ll see what I mean.

Truth to you may only be for you. Just accept that there is always a chance that you might be wrong.

Once you approach discussions with that attitude, you will find that they become more pleasant

I most certainly can be wrong but God's Word never is and it is His Word I will defend. I can be pleasant unless someone is twisting the only words that count, the Word of God

I have had several people mouth me on CC over my name choice....funny thing... it was the name AOL gave me like 17 years ago along with AOL email which I have had since joining AOL (until recently) so I just stuck with it.....but hey....is what it is!!

Yes, so I am saying all of us here are interpreting God's word. While the latter is never wrong, our interpretation might be.

Using what you said, we may think they are twisting the word, but its only from our point of view. If we try to understand where the other party is coming from, we may then see that, hey, he or she might have good reasons why they think that way.

With that attitude always in mind, one will be less antagonistic when it comes to sharing our own interpretation. Who knows, the person we are sharing with may also end up more open to different points of views.

Someone who does not love the truth, cannot love the Source of truth.

God is the God of truth. Truth is freedom.. I have learned this so well over the years.

“The truth of the LORD endures for ever!” (Psalm 117:2). “Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth” (Psalm 31:5). How can someone who does not like the truth, love the God of truth?

faith with out works is dead...biblical..so why does a born again disagree with that.
I’m not calling out the person who disagreed....just don’t understand it...their disagreement?

Disagree..some can be blinded from the truth...and like you say ..you have...” learned” it over the years.
