I think this was this person who said it is possible to work with enough vigor to be sinless, was it not? I believe I have encountered a couple of posters on this thread who stated that they have actually achieved complete sinlessness. Incredible really.
He wavers on his sinlessness state ... but definitely thinks he can be.

Yes I do.

It's the Bible.

The true good news is contained therein, not the fable of OSAS.
Once Saved maybe Saved if you work hard enough? And the works of the devil have not quite been destroyed yet, therefore you are left to defeat the devil by your own wit and will? And the cry of Jesus on the cross "it is finished" should be "it's not quite finished"? And God does not possess the power, wisdom or capability to save a particular soul from eternity past from before the foundation of the world all the way to sonship and glorification? And the declaration of Jesus "I will build my Church" should be rephrased as "I will build my Church with a little help from my friends"?

Sorry I'm not buying it.

Six “I’s”, a “me” and a “my”. And to think this is supposed to be a Bible Discussion Forum. Someone needs to focus on God, not self.
Religionists ALWAYS point to self.....It is ALL 100% glory to God through Jesus or as fake as a $3 bill

Fair enough......but don’t expect me to be rude to Dottie as you call her.

I will stand up for what I believe to be truth......but i will not involve myself in silly behaviour.that some promote in each other.on this thread.it’s pathetic...so maybe I suggest you note their behaviour also.

I have them on ignore now...thank “GOD”....he directed me to the ignore button...it couldn’t have come quick enough.....Praise God.

What’s good for the goose is also good for the gander.
I seem to remember a member directing you to the ignore button...NOW it is God that did it.....a fine example you are....so....which member are you now calling God????

If you leave He let’s you go. If you throw away your faith for something that pleases you better it is lost. Salvation is not a legal agreement.
This post right here reeks of a level of scriptural ignorance that goes beyond the normal.....similar to saying one can be saved without hearing the gospel......I cannot believe you are allowed to peddle this drivel!

God appointed Saul King. It failed. He knew it would fail. He knew Samson would fail. I can list for you later the believers described as failing in the faith. Don’t think God prevents failures among men.
Samson makes Hebrews 11 as an example of faith and Saul failing as a KING does not equate anything other than he failed as a king.....you take the cake for for skewing truth in a worst way!!

Actually you go by your impressions above the Biblefrom your posts. If you experienced it, it must be so. You feel God promises you OSAS so it must be for everyone. This did not come from reading the Bible but your feeling. It’s just very shakey ground. New experiences shake it to the core.
Maybe now she will understand that God is not leading you.......I wish I could really say what I want to say without being banned!

You’d be surprised. But that’s not my purpose in any case. Never intended to do so. But it is hard to face the arguments against your position, isn’t it?
This is hilarious.....hahahaHAHAHAHHAAHHAAHHAAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHHA

You have no argument....seriously

I read them to see how much further "down the road" of false doctrine she has traveled.
I stand amazed at the rigmarole she peddles....but then again, one that claims to have been saved without hearing the gospel speaks volumes!

There’s a lot of points to address in your post cv5. So I’ll respond point by point.

1. Defeating the devil is accomplished by resisting him (James 4:7). And in extreme cases see Job. The other enemy is the old man, the flesh. You are to treat him as if he were dead (dead men do not sin).

2. The work on the cross was finished. Your walk in the faith will finish when you die in Christ or when you are changed at a twinkling of the eye.

3. God has already provided salvation by his wisdom. It’s up to the believer to surrender all for Jesus. Even his cheeks to the smiter if need be; denying himself.

4. The church is here. You must walk as becomes a saint in the church as a member of the body of Christ.

5. Once Saved, endure to the end <——— this is a better phrase.

Amen.

Notice she does not engage you.

She knows everything she pushes is false and you will call her out on it.
