The simple answer is, that we either build or destroy, and that if we don't have peace (because we live in an illusion of a self), we will pretend to be something based on either "building" or "destroying". Let me explain that further.
Building: We add layers to the image of ourselves, because we want to portray an image that we find more useful. Often I see this as trying to fit into a group were we will feel approved. I see this as a fake support. We try to be more, because we think others will like us better like this. This I have often seen on social medias like Facebook. But I think it also goes with a person trying to change their look (unless of course it's for health issues).
Destroying: These can be the trolls. They seek peace through control. They try to make people confused or offended, because it makes them feel superior. As I see it, this is based on an enormous insecurity, where the person can't create relations anymore, but instead try to tear down others to feel life.

No, I don't see Jesus as trolling.
From my interpretation Jesus was not selfish. Not seeking control. Not trying to feel superior. Not insecure.
So, why didn't Jesus move into the temple with peace? Why didn't he meet the merchants with kindness? I'm not sure. Maybe someone can explain it. But I don't see Jesus as a destroyer of people.
