Walking with God is all about learning...we all say things..then eventually realise we are wrong...

Are you perfect...no don’t answer that...of course you aren’t...you can say what ever you like about me...again I have noticed you interpret scripture to fit into your box..

Ok, who says that?
Salvation the moment when we were SAVED, and I believe in Predestination.

So we were it says HE KNOWS WHO ARE HIS, and HE wrote our NAMES IN BOOK OF LIFE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF TIME.

HE worked out the precise EVENTS to lead us to the DECISION, we want to surrender Control of our LIFES to JESUS as LORD, meaning MASTER, giving HIM complete control of OUR LIVES, out of AGAPE LOVE. One of the First Changes that HE wanted me to do was to quit smoking cigarettes. Of course I argued against that idea. I even told him, "Why should I quit as long as I enjoy it?" So a few days later, I woke up, and my morning routine was to sit on edge of the bead, grab my lighter and pack of cigarettes, and sit there smoking until my morning cigarette was finished. So I lit that morning Cigarette, took a deep puff, AND IT TASTED HORRIBLE! THEN I HEARD A VOICE IN MY HEAD: "WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE KNOW DUMMY." That was the last cigarette that I ever had. My favorite Aunt died of lung Cancer at 29 years of ago, SO I BELIEVE HE SAVED MY LIFE.

That happened to me PRIOR to being BORN AGAIN, about 1975. I count that believing it was PROOF that I was Predestined, YET, I did not recognized that possibility at that time.

I knew from the very first NIGHT of my third attempt at Suicide, THAT HE CHANGED SOMETHING IN MY HEART {human spirit}, and that LOVE FOR HIM has GROWN more, and more intense ever since. There has NEVER been a day that my life that I DID NOT AGAPE LOVE HIM since that NIGHT.

That MOTIVE OF AGAPE LOVE HAS TO BE THEIR OR ALL OF YOUR WORKS ARE WORTHLESS TO HIM. IT IS NOT THAT YOU DO DEEDS, IT IS WHY YOU DO DEEDS, that COUNTS.

14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we {agapaô Verb for of the NOUN Agape} love the brethren. He who does not{agapaô} love abides in death.
{WHICH MEANS THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN AGAIN and their human spirit is not eternally alive.}

Obedience actually does produce faith. We used to sing “trust and obey” at one time. The disciples grew in their faith as they obeyed specific instructions.

One can wait for faith to be sufficient so one can easily obey, I guess. But I’d ask those who believe this how it’s working out for them?

And the Lord said,I will cause all of my goodness to pass in front of you,and I will proclaim my name,the Lord,in your presence.
I will have mercy,and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
But he said,you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.

Afterwards Moses did not go out and tell others that he’d met God face to face. He was humble. He told people what God had said that was pertinent to them. He never tried to tell them how great he was such that God talks to him face to face.

You are right in literal face. But there is another use of that word meaning closeness.

I must say...God asked me to go back to church..before the corona virus hit us.....I went back after not going for 25 yrs.....was that obedience?..I believe it was......my faith has increased since going back...plus the blessings I have received is unbelievable...he has brought past friends back into my life..my son is buying me a car..haven’t had one for over 2 yrs....the peace in my spirit is amazing...I feel at peace with God.
What do you make of that?

Very easy to misinterpret what folk say on here.....meeting to me means face to face...like you meet a mate for coffee.

You don’t understand those of us who don’t agree with your theology. This is clear in your words. It would help if you tried to understand. You thinking we are changing when we don’t is evidence you haven’t understood.

I was actually listening yesterday to a sermon called God calls the no bodies that someone posted in one of the threads...
It reminded me of how filthy I was in my sins , yet He called me , a nobody in this world , yet a precious daughter to Him...
