Can people get off from tv preacher bashing (like cops, a hand full of crappy DOES NOT make all bad)...........

Can users on CC walk out what they are talking about?
It's so easy to criticize and bash and bring down.......

Except that we personally know a few who are tv preachers (may not be the ones that make the nightly news, but if I gave names I guarantee there are people on this site who would know the ministries)........
NOT ALL tv preachers are crooks, just like not all cops are evil.......

My point being NOT ALL are out to get people......

Seems the thread is derailing again.......
there's plenty of other threads that preacher bash..........

The comment was simple, there are people who believe man does not have free will. While I don't agree with your POV there are others here who believe man has no free will at all. But that being said this thread isn't going to become one of those threads. We have plenty of them. We are making a distinction because there is a difference of belief. Unlike many here, I don't think you're not a Christian if you believe differently than I do. So we'll leave it there. If you have something to say about the riots we can discuss that.

Who are you the thread leader? Seriously though, no this thread isn't about the prosperity gospel, and I have made many posts on this thread about the riots. However, I am free to comment on what posts I want here, as is anyone. Prosperity gospel has no part in anything. It is a false gospel that is misleading many. Just like this foolishness going on in the streets it is pure foolishness and not of God.

Well the whole idea of any preacher, whatever they preach, going into this riot to evangelize better be prayed up and right with God. Slim chance they'll survive the night.

Yeah, you're right they had better be prayed up. The crowd is totally lawless, just like most of these tv evangelist are. They want what they want and they want it now. The crowd is using the death of a black man at the hands of various race cops to try to show racism. The TV evangelists are using God as some sort of bank or business to con greedy so called Christians to invest a thousand or two to get that back with interest from God. Not much difference if you ask me.

I did. The whole second part of my post is directly relevant to the thread and situation, and I’m cool with not talking about the first part. I didn’t bring the first part up you realize.

Yes, I don't know if you've seen some of the things people believe but they are really far out there. So I was talking more about those people in relation to that post. Er, hope that makes sense.

Mmm I don't have a very high opinion of most televangelists. But I don't think they compare to these rioters beating people almost to death in the street, murdering a retired cop and streaming him bleeding out on FB. I think that's apples and oranges, personally. But there are a handful or less of tv evangelists that I would agree with.
 
And no this isn't about prosperity gospel, but we all as Christians better wake up. Many are getting mislead into many different things. America is suffering right now due to pure foolishness. Media is conning people into some type of race war and telling people we should let the riots run rapid in the streets and you have many Americans agreeing with this foolishness.

Fine I agree they are not physically attacking folks, but you know as well as I know they are spiritually attacking and misleading people for money. Go back and read my first comments, though. I commented on a post and then was told this was not the place for it...To the point of that, I say... so what...lol

In my country, if there is a flare up of violent activities, its not unusual for the pastors to go to where such activity is taking place.

They will march through the neighborhood with bullhorn speakers crying out for peace, with members from their church and anyone else who wants to join in.

They also meet with various people involved and encourage them in a good way.

The popular televangelists do like to preach on prosperity, and yes it would be really nice if they could meet with the people. I did not bash anyone.

I have seen pastors making comments on whats happening, and that's beautiful, because it should not be ignored by them, but it would be great if they got together and organised to meet out on the streets also.
