This all happened. But Paul said it would end. And he was no longer healing in the epistles. Go raise som dead people and get back with me.
You keep on limiting miracles to raising dead people… so funny

All irregular apostles would by a false ones . not sent by God.

That is another witness to help us not to make Apostle into gods in the likeness of men. The word apostle with the word 12 has a meaning assigned to it. Its why he used a remnant (12) of all that are shown (27) to include Jesus, a apostle sent with and empowered by the will of another. .,

Apostles are used in the same way as tribes as gates . 12 as the golden rule measure of faith is a metaphor designed to represent the unseen authority of God. Tribes as gates with apostles as walls. = The chaste virgin bride, the church.

The spiritual house of God made up of many lively stones.

One chaste virgin bride the wife of Christ, the church. She is made up of wall and gates . The unseen city we enter in by faith the golden faith measure. Not the measure of men the literal. . We are the temple of God in that way.
Are you suggesting the few other apostles were on Peters's level?

Evidently those people believed they were accepted and used by God. But that doesn't mean it was a fact. As you note, Jesus responded "...I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matt 7:23) Workers of iniquity are sinners. They do not have the indwelling presence of God, and thus can not cast out demons. (Acts 19:14-16)

If demons could be easily cast out just by using Jesus' name, why did some require prayer and fasting? (Matt 17:21) Again, answer to prayer is only available to children of God. (John 9:31)
Hint. devils flee at the name of Jesus. Do they remain gone? Jesus says they return and the person ends up 7 times worse. Why? Because Christ died only for the elect and they came to him in faith showing their he paid for their sins. And these remained healed.

Notice the scripture you quote. It clearly states that the Holy Ghost is what was given. Nothing about spiritual gifts

God confirms/establishes His principles by presenting them at least twice in the written word. (2 Cor 13:1, Deut 19:15, Matt 18:16) Applying this principle makes it clear exactly how one can expect to receive the Holy Ghost. It can be received spontaneously. (Acts 2:1, 10:44) It can be received after one filled with the Holy Ghost lays hands upon another individual. (Acts 8:17, 19:6) A person can also pray for and receive it. (Luke 11:13, Matt. 7:7-8)
All believers have the Holy Spirit. But the gifts were spread around by the Apostles.

The scripture you quote concerns one receiving the actual GIFT of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the GIFT given by God as promised in Acts 2:39.

The spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians flow from people who have previously been infilled with the GIFT of the Holy Ghost. Big difference.
All believers have the Holy Spirit. But only a few had the gifts and only through an Apostle's hands. (Besides the two outpourings.) Do you think you speak in tongues?

You are not accepting the facts as presented.
I accept them as the bible presents them. You are attempting to take them out of context to support doctrine that is not sound. You know how you want the scriptures to read so you read into them not read out of them.

My husband is well aware of our conversations and is saddened by your inability to see the truth. Focusing on the messenger and not the message is not wise. My prayer is that God will open your eyes; it is He that enlightens one's understanding. You go and have a blessed day, I dust my feet and walk away.
If you do not want sound doctrine you will find many who will give you teaching that will tickle your ears.

Scripture states Scripture is God speaking. The voices in the head are not.
No offense but you seem to think anyone who hears him other than reading the word is crazy even though many have already given you many good answers as to why he speaks in other ways and with scriptures so I am not sure you are in any place to call anyone crazy.
Besides I don't think it is up to us to decide how he talks to people especially if it is based on our own perception of how his voice works.

Scripture does not support voices in the head as God speaking. In fact, it breaks the first commandment about not having any other gods beside God.

And you see there is my point , your own perception is trying to make something it isn't.
To have a God above him we have to have a worship in it meaning we idolize it and devote ourselves to it.

If a person says they heard his voice in their minds that is not worship that is thinking they heard him speak in their minds.
At the very least you could have said how we should listen to vain spirits of the flesh, and also in case you didn't know many times in scripture he spoke out loud to people I mean he even used a burning bush and a donkey to speak so how far of a strech is it to think he could interact with our thoughts as well?

As far as I have seen you have no evidence that he speaks to us in the scriptures alone and that we no longer hear him out loud or in visions and dreams but what about this?

Psalm 85:8

Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly.

Isaiah 55:3

Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.

And this one in particular
Hebrews 3:15

As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

In the entire bible it speaks of hearing his voice but it never says it is by reading the scriptures alone. When you speak or try to teach the gospel or any kind of doctrine or say you hear a sermon or go to church if what you are listening to is not from the spirit then it is of man and if the spirit speaks then is that not his voice and do you not hear and listen?
Do we have salvation based on written words or by hearing by faith? So if what you say is true then by your own words anything you have said in your bashing of his voice is of man and your flesh not of God but if I am in the right and I speak what he places in my heart to speak then it is by the spirit thus his voice being spoken through us but you harden your heart and plug your ears even when you are presented with scripture after scripture that says otherwise and again you say we hear him through his word yet if any scripture presented defies your belief you shut your ears to the voice you claim is the only true voice

Scripture = God's voice. You make yourself, God, if you imagine it is him speaking and you blurt it out.

From my own personal perspective....God speaks to me....he has also spoken to me through other people...he also uses people as vessels.

He also spoke to Adam and Eve....I don’t limit God to the bible.....all that Jesus did......could never all be recorded in the bible.

I don’t have a problem if some think I’m mad....I know in my spirit when the Lord speaks to me....I won’t get drawn into arguing or proving it...because I can’t......I just know what I know....when it happens it is always to “Glorify God”....no one else.

Paul did not say it would end. He said when that which is perfect has come meaning Jesus at His second coming the spiritual gifts will no longer be necessary. The gifts were given to equip the saints (born again believers) for the work of the ministry. Born again believers are still calling out to others to accept Jesus as their savior.

I provided evidence from the word that devils/demons do not just flee at the name of Jesus:
Acts 19:13-16
"Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded."

All believers have the Holy Spirit. But only a few had the gifts and only through an Apostle's hands. (Besides the two outpourings.) Do you think you speak in tongues?
Speaking in tongues is the evidence of the infilling of the Holy Ghost/Spirit. The word is clear on that topic even though many reject it.

I know this to be true because of the word, and secondly because of my personal experience that aligned with the word:

I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues when I was very young. Years later I got water baptized "in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost." Afterward, upon seeing that all recorded water baptisms were done in the name of the Lord Jesus I was water baptized that way. For me, personally, afterward my spiritual eyes were indeed open. (John 3:3) I could "see" (understand) scriptures with greater clarity than in the past.

During prayer, my language changes to tongues as well at times when I am singing.

About ten years later, God imparted the Spiritual gift of tongues upon me that was interpreted by another for edification of the church body. I had not been seeking the gift, however, while praising God in the worship service He decided to flow through me and speak a message to the congregation.

As I was praising God I could feel His presence stronger than in times past; so strong in fact, I sensed something was definitely different but had no idea what was going on. As I praised the Lord someone to my left began to speak in tongues. I remember thinking Lord if that is what you wanted me to do I would have done it. Immediately the individual stopped speaking. I felt what can only be described as an internal explosion; a feeling of complete fullness that my body could not contain. To my utter dismay the fullness began pouring out in the form of tongues. There I was, normally the shy, quiet one, loudly proclaiming half of a message that was afterward interpreted. I say half, because the interpretation began and part way through the message there was a distinct pause. The proclaimed message began with the other individual and was picked up and concluded through me.

On the drive home I could not help re-living the incident over, and over in my mind. I was amazed at what had occurred. I questioned the Lord about the explosive feeling. His answer was not audible, I heard it in my mind, “I consumed the sacrifice.” I was in awe. I realized that God would only use my vocal cords to speak to His people if I was willing for Him to do so.

And yet you refuse to listen to his voice when it is presented to you and on what basis does thinking you hear his voice makeing yourself God?what evidence do you have of that?
do you have any scriptural evidence or are you giving your own opinion again?

All believers have the Holy Spirit. But the gifts were spread around by the Apostles.
The outpourings and laying on of hands you continue to reference pertain to the actual infilling of the promised Gift of the Holy Ghost into a person after they accept the gospel message.

As far as distribution of spiritual gifts, they too can be received through the laying on of hands as in the case of Timothy (1 Tim 4:14) or spontaneously. The Holy Spirit flows through born again believer giving a word of knowledge, discerning of spirits, etc. in order to fulfill God's purposes here on earth:

"For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 1 Cor 12:8-11
