But do you do it because you have decided you don't care anymore about the forgiveness of sin you have received in Christ?Everyone flagrantly disobeys God.
That is the difference that is not being addressed.

THANK YOU.But do you do it because you have decided you don't care anymore about the forgiveness of sin you have received in Christ?

No, there is a difference between making mistakes and flagrantly willfully sinning against God.
This is the point of Hebrews 10:23.

I am still dumbfounded at the use who yesterday admitted that christians can still fall into sexual sin.. Yet somehow claim it somehow was different. and not willfull and on purpose? making it seeminly ok for them, but not others.. where does this thinking come from?

THANK YOU.
Exactly my point.
we all have our bessetting sins. God also knows the ones that are the most tempting and the hardest to stop.I have wilfully disobey God......he has never left me....he disciplined me.......
I have been born again for 28 yrs...I have never fell into sexual sin...I couldn’t it would destroy me...I have given my life to God.
I can’t speak for others...but I had a friend who fell into sexual sin.......she said she felt awfull after the act.....but still kept doing it....I don’t understand that.
he can not comprehend thatWrong.. Hebrews 10:26 is connecting "willful sin" as it relates to sacrifices in the Old Testament.
And I wonder which sin is the dividing line... oh right .... scripture is silent on that.
So one minute you have the Holy Spirit and then in the next it is taken away.. scripture teaches no such thing.
So @Judges1318 is bearing false witness because he disagrees with you?Judges is another liar and bearer of false witness
What he said was not true. and should not be listened to.
I also will not be responding to a thing he posts.. But if he wants to keep bearing false witness. I will report him like I did his brother P4T!
Now I see where this is going.THANK YOU.
Exactly my point.
Yep.Now I see where this is going.![]()
wee all have our bessetting sins. God also knows the ones that are the most tempting and the hardest to stop.
Do not blame your friend. We all have these issues.
We should not judge someone who has a problem with a sin, anymore than we would want to be judged for our bessetting sin.
So @Judges1318 is bearing false witness because he disagrees with you?
Well, I guess it's not like you've accused anybody of that before...
I think the moderators, such as @Oncefallen should be aware that you're reporting people just for disagreeing with you.
yepYep.
Round in circles again.
Amen brotherOh no..I don’t judge her...I have other temptations that I struggle with.....God helps me with them...as long as it’s from the heart.that I’m sincere when I ask him for help..if you know what I mean.
Is that what I said in post 1,036?yep
Because you will not see you are saying if we fall into certain sins (break the law) we will lose our salvation. Thus in effect you are preaching we must obey the law to be saved.
Our best will never be "good enough", but Jesus makes up for the shortfall.
This doesn't detract from the fact that we are asked to keep God's commandments and turn away from sin.
10I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. - Philippians 3:10-11
I think your biggest problem is you simply do not know the Bible.
You know doctrines that you have been taught, but you do not know the Bible.
But do you do it because you have decided you don't care anymore about the forgiveness of sin you have received in Christ?
That is the difference that is not being addressed.
You are correct, but that's not the point Judges is making. We do it because we are fallen human beings.......we are being sanctified day by day...by the Holy Spirit.......
Is John 14:15 too vague?
